Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The A* Factor!
This is a brand new forum game brought to you by myself, as I feel it's time to put my hosting hat on and give it a shot. It's called the The A* Factor as the acts will aim to be the best of the best!
The A* Factor is entirely different from most other forum games in the sense that it actually closely resembles the real show with regards to themes and eligible acts. For the first series, it will only feature the 2016 UK X Factor acts. The acts can be chosen from the six chair challenge stage onwards so they don't have to have made the live shows.
So, the main concept of the show will see four mentors battle it out over a series of shows with one of the following categories; GIRLS, BOYS, GROUPS and OVERS. Each mentor will get their category on the launch show and they will then proceed to choose three acts from the pool of contestants from six chair challenge onwards stage from the current 2016 series of The X Factor UK. The mentors will also be asked to choose an additional act who will be put forward for the wildcard vote! This will commence during the launch show, the public will vote for which contestant they want to see join the other acts in the live shows. The result will be known by the conclusion of the launch show. Overall, this will see thirteen acts proceed to the live shows and will sing for the publics votes all the way until the grand finale which will see the first ever The A* Factor champion.
