Martin is a complete and utter knob.

I thinks its his dry humour and sarcasm that make him come across as up himself

Whilst he's rather full of himself ,I felt sorry for him tonight and think he's become the camp's whipping boy from a majority of them

I like Martin and I think he was fantastic in his trial easily the worst trial yet.

He reminds me of Rik Mayall's character, Richie, in Bottom. Except I liked Richie.

He is not doing a lot to help himself, getting very snappy with Ant and Dec while he was doing the trial for a start will do him no favours. What I can't understand is given all his phobias and all his fussy food issues and his sensitive nature, .... what on earth possessed him to do the show in the first place. Has he not SEEN it before.... it's been on for about fifteen years. What part of these events are surprising him !!! I do feel a bit sorry for him though, it's hard to be the ONE that does not fit in. Danny seems to have slotted right in, with no problems and yet I can't stand him.

He's a bit of a drama queen but preferable to the tossers some of them are showing themselves to be.

I feel sorry for him. They've set their minds against him and nothing he does is going to right now. I know he sometimes gets in his own way, yes he has a sarcy tone, but he doesn't deserve to be the villain in there. It's put me off everyone, to be honest.

At least he hasn't tried the 'under the radar' ploy. Yes, he may come across as grumpy, but that nasty and prolonged outburst by Danny was totally unnecessary.

I'm not a huge fan of him in terms of his mannerisms and personality.
But he is certainly surrounded by a lot of complete and utter knobs. It's hilarious how people were commenting a few days ago at how nice this bunch are. Now the masks have slipped most of them are terrible human beings. It's fascinating. |

I'm not a fan , never liked him on the homes under the hammer. He comes across as a bit of a victim.

It's fascinating. Very Lord of the Flies. He had a bad entrance (not that he did anything particularly awful, but little things matter in that close environment). His co-joiner, Danny, clearly doesn't like him and has a much more forceful personality. So the herd has unquestioningly adopted Danny and his attitude towards Martin.
Kudos to Lisa tonight for telling Martin that the laminate reading 'regime' was bullshit. I would really like to see more of her and Ola. They both were lovely to Martin before the trial as well. |

I like Martin a lot; yes he can be quite grumpy and animated a lot of the time, but he seems a decent person and I sympathised with him tonight.

I can't warm to Martin at all. Never heard of him before, not that makes any difference, but he comes across to me as something of a diva-cum-drama queen.
And what is it with beans and rice? Surely he has seen the show before agreeing to do it, and would realise beans and rice are basically their staple food? If he really can't eat it, then he shouldn't have agreed to do the show - or is he just attention seeking? |

The guy's a buffoon who needs a reality check. Crying for heaven's sake. You're not in Auschwitz love, get a grip.
