They are picking on him and Moffit is the ring leader. She must see him as a threat.
She was not picking on him and he is not a threat

I think Martin brings a lot of it on himself, but at the same time, Danny was a massive dick to him tonight.

Also interesting how Lisa said the chef getting to read the laminate was rubbish. I also think Wayne is genuinely trying to support him.

Scarlett should have told Danny to back off and dealt with it herself.

How are they picking on him. He was given a job , when he didn't do it he was asked to do it. He's not making his late entrance easy for himself. He needs to get a grip . What did he expect .

It hasnt quite reached the heights of bullying, but they are singling him out and picking on him, especially Baker and Moffat.

This !!!

I felt sorry for him tonight ,and think he's become the Camp's whipping boy from the majority of them and if it isn't nipped in the bud could quite easily cross the line into Bullying territory although it isn't there yet

Martin has got a slightly irritating demeanour and personality traits.

But he's not really done anything that impacts the others negatively. He's just landed them some meals from the hardest trial in the series so far, and Adam was just sat there doing nothing all day when the water is a 2 man job.

Definitely being victimised.

I think this is probably accurate.

I think it's more the fact he grates on Danny and also he seems quite an outspoken person, so if Martin is doing something that he doesn't agree with, he's not one to sit back and keep quiet like the rest of the camp, he will openly tell him. I guess he was right what he said to Martin tonight, I just think he went about it the wrong way. He made him feel small in front of the rest of the group. I think he should have pulled him over to one side and just said nicely, 'look mate, maybe you dont realise your doing it but I've noticed it and others have noticed it, but others are pulling their weight and helping out and people are noticing your not doing your jobs. Scarlett asked you nicely on several occasions tonight to do it and you didn't and it seems unfair to the rest of the group'. He then would have realised and started pulling his weight. I didnt think it was necessary to shout and be little him like that in front of everyone. But that's just my opinion!
I can't stand men like Danny though, he's acting like the type of man that if he has something to say he will say it without fear. But do you honestly belivie if Nigel Benn or Chris Eubanks had refused to get the water we would have seen the same chest puffed out snarling aggression?

The cowardly little weasel would have berated Scarlett instead and demanded she went for the water

I agree. Scarlett was telling Martin off yesterday for standing up for her and then today she lets Danny do exactly the same.

Martin has also been the bigger man on more than one occasion and tried reconciliation. His attempt the other night was a bit stilted but his move to Danny was a class act today and one he really didn't need to do.

If the public hammer him on the first vote and he goes out I will be genuinely disappointed in them.

At work today my boss asked me to bring some stock out but I ignored him and got on with something I wanted to do. He then asked me again but again I ignored his request. After this he asked me 2 more times and a colleague got so wound up with it all he too had a go. Basically my boss and colleague bullied me so I cried and tried to get sympathy from my other colleagues

Martin is an ignorant and arrogant tosser. I can just imagine if he was ever voted the leader, though actually everyone else tends to do their job so he wouldn't have cause to ask again and again.

I can't bear to watch, for I feel like crying for him. I think I'm going to stop watching.

A grown man tells another to do as he was asked

In the modern world of social media of course this is "bullying"

This country...

In that scenario, surely your colleague should have stayed out if it?

And in the morning you have worked your arse off so that all your workmates could eat a meal tonight. And while your boss was having a go at you, someone else who is supposed to be doing the same job as you are is leaning against the wall having a fag, having done nothing for the day.

Hmm similar to the situation if it was Nigel Benn or Chris Eubanks who were the leader and were asking Martin to get the water. It wouldn't have taken more than one asking there either.

It was telling that some of them were having a go at him but saying nothing to Adam. I found it pretty uncomfortable to watch. I've never been keen on Baker and always thought he was a tit but disappointed in Scarlett to be honest.

A grown man takes the opportunity to have a go at another grown man. Not pleasant.

There is such a thing as consideration for other people.

Matins acting like a petulant child not a hard man, I have no problem with him being called out on his behaviour but the aggressive nature of in which Danny did it was very selective in who he did it to. He ( Danny ) acts like your stereotypical wannabe alpha male who takes no sh*t but wouldn't dream of acting that way with some who might lamp him one. That's the worst type of man

I know but he is bully just like my boss

We really don't know that Adam hadn't already done more than his fair share. I assume he had to get water while Martin was off camp showing off getting erm 8 stars. Surely if there was anything to this then Martin would have raised the matter rather than stomping off and then crying. Others have had jobs and still managed to get stars so not sure why it's proving more difficult for Martin

Moffatts veil is slowly slipping. Wayne and Lisa are the only two who ever go out on a limb. The rest of them sit on the fence then bitch about Martin when he disappears.

Well the difference being that Scarlett didn't agree with what Martin was saying (and therefore didn't want to be brought into the argument by association) whereas she had already asked Martin to pull his weight and he had ignored her so she was happy for Danny to step in.

Martin being the tool that he is still didn't get the hint and sat there fanning the fire!

Martin's very passive aggressive, and condescending to Scarlett, who tonight, was acting like a grown up.

Danny Baker played a blinder. He'd had enough of Martin's work avoidance and possibly sexist behaviour to Scarlett, and let rip. Good for him.

And let's be honest, nobody disagreed with Danny.....and Scarlet verbally agreed with him.

You could see that Danny had just had enough of Martin's behaviour, and in a very controlled but laced with anger way, tore Martin apart, and never let go until Martin was forced to accept the truth.

I actually think that Martin may be the bully, a bit of a psychological bully, especially to Scarlet, and possibly other young people with which he feels he can pick on. Maybe he does that on his TV programme, and gets away with it.

But Danny doesn't like bullies. And now Martin knows that Danny doesn't like bullies.

That is an interesting relationship that is developing.

Martin is a total knobhead, what else is there to say.

I say that Martin refusing to do the leader's bidding when the leader is a young female is equally if not more selective and also demonstrates the worst type of man.

Well at least Moffat has the whole camp at her beck and call whenever she puts on the waterworks. She's not a grown up, she's an idiot and last night proved that.
