She said to Martin yesterday "i don't want anybody fighting my battles i can fight my own battles" after he stepped in to defend her and the team.

Tonight we see Danny shouting Martin down on behalf of Scarlett and she says nothing. Later when she is asked about it by an upset Martin she says "well Danny was only sticking up for me" but i thought you didn't want people to fight your battles? Or is it only because you are part of the bully brigade?

How quick the mask has fallen.

Good point there! I like her, but she could have handled it better.

Playing one of the biggest games and people are falling for her innocent act...

Doesn't she love them wrapping her up in cotton wool

Never wanted a favourite to leave early so much since Joey.

I really liked her from the start, but tonight really put me off. I'm surprised she thought it was ok to let someone be spoken to her on her behalf like that so publicly and rudely.

Please let her be the first to be voted off...followed by Danny Baker

Going off of her very quickly. She's playing the "young, innocent" card, and letting Danny do her dirty work.

I really liked her at the beginning, but I've really seen a different side to her these last few days.

I agree...sneaky, sly and probably watched playbacks of Vicky, researching how to 'do it'. Let's we how she fares if ever she's voted to do a BTT

I don't like her on Gogglebox ,but warmed to her a bit on this show ,until her antics tonight with Martin/Danny ,put me off her again ...so at the moment I've gone back to not liking her much again

I've never seen someone behave with such heartlessness and cruelty. It's chilling to see what truly lurks beneath the surface of some humans

I didn't know who she was and thought people were being a bit cruel about her as she seemed quite good fun, but totally changed my mind now. Talking and laughing about Martin behind his back, having a go at him about water (what about Adam?) and to top it all, saying she didn't need Martin to stick up for her yesterday (even though she had moaned about the gloating), but then defends Danny for doing the same.

Yes! She was very passive-aggressive during her "comforting" of Martin. He'd just been humiliated by both her and Danny in front of the whole camp, and her "you don't need to get upset over this" was really said because she was worried it would make her look bad. There wasn't an ounce of compassion in her voice to him.

It was less about having people fighting her battles and more about people putting words in her mouth.

She'd asked Martin several times that day to go and get water. As most of the campmates corroborated that he answered her back and then went for a nap or busied himself with something else directly after she had asked him.

Danny told Martin, rather abrasively that he was undermining Scarlett's - who Martin keeps calling Charlotte by the way - authority, which he was. Scarlett agreed with the sentiment of Danny's words since Martin had been refusing to listen to her all day.

When she told Martin off for fighting her battles it was one she didn't want to fight, since she did not feel how he assumed she did about the situation.

She and Danny seem to be picking on Martin, it's very strange.

She didn't want Martin speaking for her when it wasn't what she felt or wanted to say at all. However she kept trying to get Martin to do his job but he ignored her so it was helpful to have someone else say this and weirdly Martin listened to Danny but not Scarlet. I wonder why

I disagree with most of the post, but particularly the bit in bold; which is factually incorrect. When they got back to camp the aggro started with Adam winding up the losing team - at which point SCARLETT was the first one to have a go at Adam about gloating. Shortly thereafter, she flat out denied this (aka lied) to Martin. She said she was angry with herself for losing and it had nothing to do with gloating - when that was patently what she told Adam she had an issue with.

That's exactly how it happened.

Even if she felt that way she gave Adam her two penneth worth, and it was over with.

It was still a battle she didn't want to fight. And Martin was making an issue out of it.

That would be OK if that was what she said to Martin. But it wasn't. She made out that he had completely misrepresented her feelings - when he hadn't; at all.

I've really gone off her, though I still think she will win due to the favourable edit and Twitter brigade, who seem love her. I agree completely OP that she was a complete hypocrite.

Shame on her for not being able to put her feelings into exact words in a heightened emotional situation.

I don't even like her that much.

That's true but then why did Martin have such a go at Danny about gloating and not Adam We clearly don't get to see everything but dealing with what we did see I can certainly understand why she wanted to distance herself from the ridiculous over the top merely stirring the pot Martin even if she did have to stretch the truth somewhat to do that.

However as for her being 2 faced the scenario tonight isn't anything like the one last night. It is Martin's job to get the water and Scarlet as the leader asked him to do so more than once but he chose to ignore her. I could imagine any of the camp mates (if they weren't all cowards and too keen to keep a low profile) snapping at him for this eventually but in the end it was Danny. It wasn't really anything about speaking for her but just reminding Martin what his role is and what Scarlet's is.
