I don't care that much for Scarlet or Danny but there isn't any comparison between the two events.
Martin didn't represent how she felt when he kicked off and decided he was speaking for her. Danny did and the other camp mates who'd seen his defiant patronising behavior.
What was she supposed to say at that point? Lie? How was she two faced? She'd already spoken up for herself with him, Martin argued again and continued faffing around ignoring her. Then Danny kicked off and why not? Somebody needed to.
He presumably thought winning the food was his lot for the day and my god he milked it like the infantile bad loser and pain in the ass he is.
Weeping and blaming Danny for "picking on him" was typical of his childish refusal to take responsibility for his own actions,

Scarlett didn't declare herself president. The public voted for her to be in a position of power twice. When Larry was president there was no trouble because everyone went about on their duties and no one was being "ordered' about. It's only now Martin has come in that the presidency has seen some trouble because he wasn't doing his job. I'm sure Scarlett will do her duties when it comes down to it. Get the sense she's not lazy unlike some.

Indeed. And she was voted to do the eating trial with Carol. By the public. And if I recall she ate all five of her "challenges" And of course the public did vote for her twice as Camp VP and Camp P. But to some of the Martin fans, little things like facts don't matter.

Adam had already collected water and was on his way to collect more after dinner when Scarlet asked Martin to help him. He'd refused and argued with her a few times when she asked him to do it before that.. The whole reason for the kick off. Why should it be Adams job because Martin whinges about doing it?
There isn't any reason why any camp mate shouldn't pull someone up when their behaviour isn't right for the camp and annoying what appeared to be a few of them.

She is a very nasty woman, loves stirring trouble.

I think her ego and arrogance has gone through the roof since her early Gogglebox days, hence her losing all the weight which I don't think suits her. She suited the chubby curvy look.

Scarlett used to be slim and healthy when she did ballet. Good on her for recognising that she needed to take health seriously and stat working out and eating better.

Does she? How? She's not one of my favourites but I haven't seen any arrogance from her so far. Her appearing to be playing the baby of the camp when it suits her and having too much camera time are starting to get on nerves.

Why isn't Wayne being called two faced out about this incident? He went to comfort weeping Martin after he'd said exactly the same as the others about him, his back chat and his tone towards Scarlett. He even told Martin he didn't know what Danny was annoyed about.

I was disappointed in the way Scarlett dealt with the Martin situation yesterday, she should not have let Danny have a go at him on her behalf, that was just feeding Danny's ego and really hitting Martin when it was obvious he was already down. She should have taken him aside and spoken to him one to one.

I was actually disappointed at the way the whole camp seems to be singling out Martin, yes he is a pessimist and has been a moan but they should be trying to bring him up rather than put him down.

Seriously, I need a link to what I assume must have been an extra show which I've missed in which Scarlett turned into a nasty, trouble-stirrer. Because it was most definitely not the show I watched last night.

The only person responsible for last night's fallout was the petulant, self-absorbed manbaby that is Martin.

I don't particularly care for either Martin or Scarlett, but I feel sorry for Martin because I think he's the camp whipping boy. There's always one. It's all very Lord of the Flies.

However - re the bit in bold. Often, a misrepresentation of fact is repeated on here so often that it becomes accepted. I find that very irritating. The bit on bold is a good example.

When they got back from the yellow/blue task Adam was acting like a gloating little idiot and Scarlett picked him up on his gloating - yep, his gloating. Martin then overdid the reaction, as he is wont to do. However, Scarlett later flat out lied about this, saying more than once that she had been irritated by her own performance and not the gloating. In fact, she was the first to voice her disapproval of precisely the gloating.

So it is just factually incorrect to say that Martin didn't represent how she felt. He exactly did. He took off where she left off and went too far.

I don't agree with knocking anyone because of who they support,but there is a disconnect between the behaviour of Martin and the accusations of bullying against him. IMO since the Shilpa Shetty big brother incident there is an inclination to shout bully. Martin is not being bullied, he's just one of those unfortunate individuals that doesn't have a winning personality. In these kinds of reality programmes it seems some people love this type of person and good for them. However it seems that some of Martin's supporters are looking for anyone else to blame for his behaviour.

I don't think I've seen any Martin 'supporters' on here at all. I've seen quite a few who are unimpressed with the attitudes of some of the others towards Martin - but that does not a Martin supporter make.

He certainly went too far. I've just watched it again Patsy. Martin did nothing but huff the whole way back and then lay on his bed pontificating about it all and how it was going to be "a very sticky situation "? when the other team got back.. No-one answered him, no-one else spoke and they didn't appear to have any any problem apart from the way he was behaving. He'd made the atmosphere tense and divisive himself which none of them were used to.

Not realising the extent of Martin's huff or the OTT drama and fantasy he'd created for seemingly his own entertainment, Adam and the team came back. He was his usual happy self joking with Martin about how he'd he used his chin instead of his tongue in the task. That was all he said.
Scarlett who was next to Martin and looking uncomfortable like the rest of them, asked Adam calmly and politely not to wind him up and said please don't gloat, which as far as we saw he really wasn't doing. She shouldn't have said it.

I'd say she was more keen to try to keep the peace because of the clearly wound up Martin's likelihood of getting even more wound up which of course he did.
After he and Danny had their words and Martin's lies, he asked for a show of hands of who thought Danny was gloating, not Adam. That annoyed most of them as we saw and of course no-one supported him. Why would they?

Martin used her to exaggerate and lie trying to justify his lousy attitude and infantile behaviour. She denied that she hadn't said Danny had upset and angered her as he claimed. She said she couldn't stand the awkwardness Martin had created and his arguing. He was lying about her just as he tried and failed to do with Danny.

I don't believe he's been singled out or that there's any Lord of the Rings situation. He went in there with an overblown ego and he's a bit of a negative diva. Even his wife said that's the way he behaves at home, "chucking his toys out of his cot", but he doesn't take long to get over himself. Maybe she should have gone in there with him, he's clearly used to being mothered.

As Dec said after his trial, he's hard to help because he won't help himself. He was offensive and arrogant with them during the trial. At the end he whinged about them being unfair when he didn't want to take responsibility for dropping two stars. They'd tried to help him by telling him to make sure the stars were in the bag immediately they knew he'd dropped them which is all they're allowed to do.

There seems to be comments all over social media about Scarlett being a bully, two faced etc. Am I missing something because I'm just not seeing it.
