Find it hard to find sympathy for these celebs with more money than sense who can get help for the least little thing when normal ordinary people with mental health problems suffer for years with no help. (speaking from experience)

What Kimye should do now is take a year out of the spotlight and just focus on their kids and their marriage. They should go on lots of vacations, enjoy their money and just chill. Kim should give the next series of KUWTK a miss.

Academic ability is genetic. Children of lawyers are way more likely to be lawyers themselves than children of blue collar workers. An English degree at a good uni is exceptionally difficult to secure a place on - candidates need AAAB minimum at A level ajd intelligence is kind of necessary to achieve those scores lol
It has very little to do with genetics and everything to do with privilege. |

I don't usually agree with Piers Morgan, but he was spot on this morning when he said that most of the public are sick to death of hearing about the whole ghastly family, and have no sympathy with any of them.

Lawyers are not brighter per se - there are some pretty thick lawyers about, the kind that hang about country towns doing basic donkey work such as conveyancing, drawing up wills etc. and doing those is most certainly not rocket science, though you can earn a very good living and cut quite a dash in your circle. And, of course, there are some very, very bright lawyers (the kind who let you think you are the bright one, then take you to the cleaners before you can turn around) . And 'blue collar workers' are most certainly not necessarily thick, and it is pure snobbery to say so. Often working in a 'blue collar' job is down to how your life went, what your parents' expectations were etc. And talking of parents, some bright children can have some very thick parents, and some bright parents can spawn some remarkably thick children. If there is rhyme or reason to this kind of thing, we certainly haven't yet fully inderstood it. As for the genetic element of intelligence, again not true: you can have siblings in the same family are differ widely in intelligence on the same measurements. Which brings me to the final point: what is 'intelligent'? it's a very moveable feast and pretty much undefinable. Some 'intelligent' people (e.g. those who are an academic success) can behave in very stupid ways. Conversely, those deemed academic failures can often be bright as a button and run rings round 'more intelligent' folk in a given field. We can say only one thing with certainty about those with a high IQ according to the tests used: they are very good at such tests. Yes, some, such as Stephen Hawking, have a talent for, say, abstract thinking which others don't. But we would be foolish to declare them 'more intelligent' than others. |

What is the obsession with Beyonce and Jay Z about? Can someone please explain. Is he in love with Beyonce? I just don't get why Kanye seems to be so bothered about them. It's just really weird.

And for the record, I don't think that spreading her legs for a sex tape and selling herself and her fat @rse to the highest bidder is any indication of academic success.

Ironic then that Mr Kardashian's most notorious daughter is as thick as two short planks.

But that's only part of the equation. Lots of poor people are very clever and they no doubt have clever children. But many of them don't have the money or connections to get the education and opportunities that translates their intelligence into academic achievement and prestigious careers. That's why the "professions" ars mostly dominated by the middle classes and upwards. |

I can't really see Kim and Kanye staying together. Their break up will be the next chapter in her career. Imagine all the stories she could sell when she starts dating someone else ?
Personally speaking though I think Kim can do a lot better than Kanye who appears to be very dominating and controlling and also a spendthrift (from what I read in the newspapers). Kim is very beautiful and obviously savvy, whereas Kanye has gone from a respected artist to a joke. I think Kim will wait for him to be discharged, give it a while and then get rid of him. He is bringing her carefully crafted image down. |

To be fair you don't get to be as famous as KK has for essentially doing nothing without having some smarts. She had the nous to turn the sex tape to her advantage both financially and publicity wise. I don't like her but I don't think she's stupid. I think her talent is knowing how to make money out of stupid people!

The only thing that underpins her alleged "success" is an obsession with endless self-promotion and having the money at her disposal to waste on these pointless activities. It's certainly not intelligence, intellect - or even good old-fashioned common sense. There is precisely zero of any substance there, as she doesn't actually DO anything. People who buy into this nonsense are even thicker as she is, for wasting their time and money on her. They get precisely ZERO in return. Maybe some of these people are just beginning to realise this...

Don't make the mistake of confusing smart business sense with a colossal brass neck. The business ideas and the groundwork don't come from her - it's other people who do the actual work - she just puts her name to them and takes all the credit.

There's umpteen people like her - socialites from well to do backgrounds - but though many have tried, none has made the huge financial success out of doing nothing that KK has. Those activities you've described ARE her work. She's essentially selling a window on her lavish lifestyle for the gullible to look through .... and fund. All these "people who do the work" don't do it for nothing and they soon move on to someone else if the "product" doesn't sell. KK has always had a good business head and the ability to know how to turn things to her advantage and work the media. Lots of stupid people fund her lavish lifestyle but I don't believe she's stupid. Self obsessed, obnoxious and pointless and a sad reflection on the vacuousness of her "market" yes. But stupid? No. |

Interest in them is fading faster than the titanic and she needs a new man.. or just for the media to print stories/gossip/rumours about who she is shagging next (which top athlete will be tapping her!?) The reason Kim is so famous is because she does/did bounce from man-to-man and people want to know.. |

In fact, I see nothing of merit in making this family of useless specimens rich or famous. They contribute nothing worthwhile to society but take freely from it. They insist on making their public images omnipresent and ubiquitous - for no reason other than personal gain. On that basis, I feel perfectly justified in pointing out the general uselessness and pointlessness of each and every one of them. ![]() As women, they also seem determined to emasculate and ruin every man they come into contact with. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see them all crash and burn. I think it would probably be well deserved.

How do you know he hasn't suffered for years without getting help? Having money doesn't suddenly mean you are willing to talk to people and be open about your problems and seek help. If anything, it probably makes you less likely to because of opinions like yours, because of people thinking that famous people with money can't have serious problems to deal with, because people mock them rather than have sympathy for them.

If anyone considers being an opportunist to be a marker of intelligence, then I suppose yes, she's going to look very smart indeed.... but that all then comes down to how much actual value (not monetary value) is placed upon intelligence used for useful purposes.

I think the difference here is you're coming from a moral viewpoint and I'm not. Don't get me wrong I neither like nor approve of Kim or any of the Khardashians but that doesn't mean they're stupid. Intelligence is not always put to good use.
And yes you do need to be intelligent to be serially successful as an opportunist. ![]() Yes, she might well be famous and may be remembered in the future but it will be for all the wrong reasons. History will not look kindly on her - however, I'm sure the short-term gain will probably satisfy her fundamentally greedy instincts. Because of how dense and thick-skinned she is, she won't lose any sleep over the very negative public image with which she has saddled herself.

What is it with celebs always saying they have something wrong with them ? I'm sorry but it's hard to believe that all of these people are mentally ill.

You have not quoted any research here, just a series of specific examples. Your argument is basically equivalent to claiming that most people don't have brown eyes because some people have blue eyes.
