If you enter a competition, you have to accept you may lose sometime. Ed knows what that is like, and the stakes were much higher for him than any competitor in SCD.

(And they are my must watch every week, even though I will eventually end up voting for Danny and Oti I expect).”

I agree Ed is working hard and has actually danced/performed much better than I ever expected. I realise for the dance purists he is a NO NO but for those who watch SCD to appreciate dance and entertainment Ed has been great. As a programme broadcast in a prime Saturday night slot, SCD is an entertainment show.

Katya has choreographed great entertaining routines which all include the required dance steps - actually I believe she has been a revelation in her first year as a SCD pro. Ed has improved and his timing is great. As stated already he is miles better than any of the other 'joke contestants' over the years - he is actually dancing & performing.

Ed is not expecting to win but he has embraced what SCD is all about and fair play to him!

IMO, of the good dancers, Danny & Oti, are the stand out couple and I am expecting them to lift the Glitterball.

In the same way as did Russell Grant. He's just a talking point, for many. He'll be gone soon enough and forgotten like the rest.

What surprised me was watching him in the opening dance on Sunday result show, he did well as required , except the lift of Claudia which it looked like he was having an issue with

Some posters on here take things far to serious, for me Ed is entertaining. Will you please spare a thought for his partner, she has worked really hard too, just like some of the favorites.

Not for me!

I neither love him or loath him I really am indifferent to him as a person or dancer. I just think he is the worse dancer left and I stopped finding him entertaining some weeks ago.

Hey!

It's just her day job, she's got herself noticed and will likely be back next year, so she should worry.

Fair play to him for not doing a John Sargeant and pulling out. I always thought that was a complete overreaction. It's family entertainment and Ed Balls certainly does entertain.

If he wins it'll be because the public voted for him and no other reason but it would be a joy to watch just to see the judge's reactions.

A familly entertainment show all the way for me and most strictly fans at home, Ed is doing really well.

He tries his best so you can't knock him for that. It's the bits he does when his dance has actually ended, so cringeworthy and unessessary

Danny can hardly be described as dull when not only trained in performing arts all his life but has been voted sexiest male soap actor as well as sexiest male overall!
He's just not poplar with the other contestants!
Hes always going to have an advantage!
Louise has danced but hasn't trained in it and is older so the wow factor is missing ! Claudia has some advantage too but her height is against her!
The characters have made the show so have some of the lovely none dancers that are improving week on week and I include everyone in that apart from the above !
Was impressed up till now that Claudia hadn't used her gymnastic ability to add the wow factor but this week he did! Yes it did work and guess was entertaining !
