Zedge is good. You can get it from the Play Store.
As you have an Android phone, it's very easy to set an MP3 file from Zedge or elsewhere as a ringtone. If you had an iPhone the process is much more complicated. |

I use “Nostalgic Phone Ringtone” from the Play Store because I like ringtones that have a bit of clout behind them to get above the sounds of city hustle and bustle.

Have you signed into your Google account on your phone?
If you have not got a gmail.com email address you will have to set that up first. From memory, in setting on the phone go to Accounts and add a Google account by following the instruction or just sign in with the account you’ve already got if you have one. |

I’ve not used Zedge but if it’s like my ringtone app within the app itself you select the ringtone from within, play the ringtone to see if it’s to your liking and if it is there’s an option to use that ringtone as your default ringtone.
Also you can if you like use a different ringtone for each and every contact in phone but that’s how they say, another story.

I thought if I liked these two ring tones which I do they could simply be added to the list that came with the phone as cannot see that list now.It always appeared when I clicked on ringtone.

To get to your ringtones go to Settings > Sounds & Notification > in there you will see another settings cog and touching it will bring another page and on that page there is a ‘Phone ringtone’ item and touching that will bring up all the ringtones stored on the phone.
To get new ringtones onto the phone AFAIK you have to select the ones you want from within that ringtone app you have download. |
