The Librarians Season 3 (US Pace)
Watching the season opener now and am reminded of how I'd love the show so much more if the tone wasn't so juvenile.

I love this show. I love how it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's a bit juvenile which i love. It's easy to follow. Doesn't try to be too smart and clever for it's own good by doing complicated story arcs. It's the fun type of fantasy I like. It's nice to have these type of shows. Just mindless fun. A nice getaway from the all serious dark dramas that are out there. Plus it is one of the few shows of it's genre that still does standalone episodes.
My main issue is that each season is only 10 episodes. I know small episode orders are all the rage these days and that doesn't bother me. But i actually feel that only 10 episodes restricts this particular show. I feel the show would actually have time to breath more if it had 13-15 episodes. But oh well. |

Not sure why this is a "US" Pace thread when we're getting it in the UK the day after. Can only assume you all don't have SyFy and didn't know that?
![]() Yep. I love this show too. |

. If a ptb wants to change the thread title to include UK pace then go right ahead. |

I wrongly assume that the 'evil' would be released and that would be the season arc. But obviously not

I do like this show, and this week's episode was very good. However, I really wish they would stop with Flynn and Eve, it just seem forced to me.
According to an interview with the producer Dean Devlin (don't open if you don't want to know)

and TNT have released a spoilerish video about season 3 on YouTube - https://youtu.be/FfG6tuCNPBE

I came across this by accident so i am placing this under a spoiler, even though the creator has already confirmed it himself. Slightly annoyed actually as I would of like for this to of been kept a secret until transmission. So proceed with caution, as i don't want the blame for spoiling it on purpose.

ep2 - so the old guardian lady basically ruffied those guys so she could get them to pleasure her, right ?! Oh, but this show is a comedy so that's alright then. :bleh:
And Noah getting people killed when he left for the morgue to check for her body bits. I would've like to see him own that. Sure me mentioned it in the note, but was kinda unsatisfying, too little and too easy. This show is like marmelade and milk: the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

Luckily I stopped reading before I completely spoilered myself.Quote:

Was there a blooper in ep2?
Flynn is trying to configure the door, Jenkins is rather agitated and he says "Kim" before turning to Jones and asking if he can talk some sense into Flynn (or something like that). It is all happening in a bit of a bluster but I replayed it a couple of times and it did sound like he used the actor name rather than the character name. |

Just re-watched it and, whilst it is possible, I don't think it's likely.
It sounds more like he went to say something to Flyn, possibly starting with the word "can't..." but then stopped and decided to ask the other character to intervene. (And his surname is Kim, not his first name. So that also makes it less likely )

Just rewatched and Jenkins turns to Ezekiel and says 'can... can you talk some sense into him.'
Quite a good episode. Nice to see Charlene back and to find out more about her. I'm not a Flynn/Eve shipper so blah to that part and I am actually glad Flynn's gone again, I think the dynamic of the team is better when he's not around. |

Flynn is in more episodes this season more than usual so his absence will be short.

I watched episode 1 last night season 3 did anyone else have picture problems with this?
I watched on syfy UK and the HD recording was really choppy like playing on a slow PC. I hope the next one not like this or be better to torrent these. |
