He's got prior form for trying to hijack shows and make them about himself, and there's only so much HEY YER REMEMBER THAT THING FROM WHEN YEZ WERE YOUNG? AH REMEMBER THAT AN ALL! a person can take. A big "hell no" from me, and obviously my opinion is super important.

Plus, he was sweating profusely from the effort of sitting in the audience and mugging at the camera. Dude would instantly die if asked to jive, I suspect.

That would be an absolute nightmare. I think there'd be a mass exodus of pro dancers who'd worry about being landed with any of them.

His jokes can be so old and worn but one look at that bright and naughty face and I'm laughing.

I loved his spot in the Clauditorium. He wreaked havoc, made Rob Rinder look a great sport and good guy and I am sure Claudia collapsed at one point.

I did vote yes to him as a contestant but I've changed my mind. A guest spot every series like that would be great.

Peter used to be really funny...especially Phoenix Nights and then his live show. But its all the same ole, same ole now and every guest spot he does goes from a bit of a laugh to overstaying his welcome. Maybe as suggested, a special one off special with a few other loose cannons involved too but Strictly proper....nah.

Winkleman collapsed in a clearly staged and contrived way, it was mildly amusing rather than side splittingly funny. SCD could do with somebody less false in that slot.

Another definite NO vote here.
Some of his early stuff was quite funny, but I don't seem to find him funny at all these days.

Definitely no! I used to love Phoenix Nights but as himself he'd be way way way too annoying.

I had no idea who he was, never having seen him on television, and thought he was idiotic. So absolutely no way from me.

Oh hell no. He's obnoxious, so I can only handle him in small doses.

What an appalling idea

As others have already said, he has to be the centre of attention and sulks big time if he isn't.

Plus they'd no doubt have to change the name to "Peter Kay's Strictly Come Dancing" to get him to appear 🙄

Total egomaniac and not a nice person off camera either allegedly.
