She was always off to France to see Jack he lived over there.

Roxy has not raised that child single handidly given how other people have looked after her more than Roxy. She was always palming her off when it suited

Right decision Phil...do something decent for once in your life.

Ronnie has got a blooming cheek telling Roxy what's right for her own daughter. Jack may have temporary custody but that doesn't give Ronnie any rights at all.

I loathe this part of the Mitchell family.

EastEasters actually killing off Phil would be the biggest shocker of the year, tbh!

Jack taking sole custody of a girl he 1) barely raised and 2) whose mother [who actually did raise her] he belittles at every opportunity is low, though. Just as much as Ronnie continually allows point 2 to happen.

Ronnie's comment on Walford's crime rate is also something that amused me

It would be a fantastic storyline if Phil did die but I think christmas is too soon if they announced he would die at easter time and showed Phil's struggle to come to terms with death and making amends for the wrongs he's done it would make for a great sl and SmF would deliver it so well. Steve would be a major loss to the show but I think they've brought his character as far as it can go

It'd probably be the biggest shocker in the entire EE history given Phil's importance to the show.

EastEnders is improving massively. The scenes with the Mitchells were fantastic.

Dot and Patrick's friendship is very special and I'm pleased O'Connor is giving them more scenes together. Patrick is trying his hardest to make Dot see sense but she's very stubborn. June and Rudolph work so well together

For the first time in ages, I enjoyed the Mitchells' scenes (I want Phil to die ) but it was great to see the family finally struggle with Phil's illness. Sharon and Louise's scenes were a joy to watch and I love the stepmother/stepdaughter relationship. I'm pleased Ronnie was sympathetic to Phil and gave him a shoulder to cry on.

7/10

Ronnie's hair was driving me up the wall last night, I found it really distracting the way it was flapping around her face all the time.

The Phil storyline is the best on EE right now. Everyone's expecting or rather hoping that he will acknowledge his family members' concern for him and shows some warmth to them. He's probably accepted his fate and yet has closed himself off from his loved ones. This makes for better if painful viewing and it's going to very poignant in the coming weeks. Better this than a Phil lives on, happily ever after storyline where he cracks jokes and is the centre of attention.

He's feared and disliked on the square in equal measures so he's not going to win personality of the year. Brilliant acting by McFadden the soap needs this hard hitting storyline.
