Well iPhone sales have dropped under Cook, the new MacBook Pro, lack of innovation and just more product releases? The Mac Pro?
The MBP is innovative and the only issues are battery (which is supposedly fixed in the new update?) and dongles. This is a transitional period which should be overcome soon. What about the Airpods? Look how innovative they are, Airpods are going to be a major hit. |

Are you sure it's not a refurbished phone?

Bit unfair to say they have dropped when he has taken them from a total of 72m in 2011 (when Jobs died) to selling more than 72m in Q4 alone. They had to drop eventually, and the iPhone 6 sold too well for year-on-year comparisons.

Yes definitely (although that might be less to do with the lack of the fault and more that I just have a new battery) but the battery life is amazing. I took my phone off charge this morning about 7am (I charge overnight) and I'm down to about 14% now at 11pm without having the charge. Over the last couple of days I've come in from work after 4pm with still about 70% battery. This was never the case before; like you the phone would drain even if it wasn't being used (and even after disabling tons of background app refreshes, etc)
It's like using a different phone for the battery life. |

After 4 weeks of trying to get a 'Genius Bar' appointment, I finally got my battery replaced on my iPhone 6S last weekend under this program as the serial number matched the ones affected and twice it had shut down recently with 20% and 45% (!) showing as left on the charge.
And yes, to agree with others - the battery now is so much better. I've had to rely in taking the charging cable with me to work to give it a bit of extra 'juice' during the day to keep it going (I tend to have GPS stuff like Maps running a lot and assumed that would drain it faster). Now I tend to get home after work with more than 50% left of the battery... |

My 6s switches off at about 7%. If I switch it back on straight away, it shows 10%, then jumps to 4% within seconds before dying again.
Apple say mine doesn't qualify for the battery replacement programme. I've tried a factory reset. Updating to iOS 10.2 hasn't cured it. Any ideas? |

Do a full reinstall of iOS using iTunes. If that doesn't help then contact AppleCare.
If that doesn't work, try using the phone until it's completely dead, like 0% and then charge the phone fully to 100% without taking it off charge, and if possible leave it for another 30mins after it's reached 100%. Worth a try before going down the reinstall IOS route. |

Right so my 6S is absolutely brilliant now that I've had the battery replaced, but we had abit of a nightmare with my wife's 6S.
It was eligible for the battery replacement and was shutting down at 30-40% etc, so we sent it off to be repair using the mailing option(like I did with my own phone), then after a couple of days got an email back saying that they couldn't carry out a repair because after they restored/updated the IOS they didn't see any issues and it "met Apples performance requirements". Went on to say set up and use for 2 days to test it. Feeling abit angry as I knew it was a battery issue I just thought ok, lets do that. Got it out of the box and tried to turn it on, just a black screen with connect to charger logo. Tried turning it on again only this time it came on and displayed around 40-50% battery, then after 10 seconds turned off. How on earth Apple deemed this phone to have no faults is beyond me!!? Got on the phone to Apple quite annoyed, and they said I could do the mailing option again or go to a store and explain I want the battery replaced etc, so that's what I ended up doing. To be fair they were brilliant in the Solihull branch. I got there at opening time, there was about 8-9 people already waiting, but went straight in and got an appointment, only had to wait for 10mins until they had the phone in. They initially said come back in 2 hours, when I went back I was 20mins early and he said it wasn't ready but if I wanted I could have a brand new replacement if I didn't want to wait, so I went ahead and did just that. So after only a couple of hours we had a brand new iPhone 6S and it wasn't even in warranty anymore, around 2 months out I think. So that kind of made up for all the hassle I had sending it off and receiving the same faulty phone back. I dout very much the likes of Samsung/Sony etc would give out a brand new replacement phone when your phone was 2 months out of warranty.

I finally went in today to see if my battery was in the phones recalled and it was so after 4 hour wait on them fixing it and my phone is back to be perfect again.
Apple custom service is top notch and I am yet to come across a better company for custom service. If only every other company took the same care and fore-site for when issues arise
