Just like Claudette did a few weeks ago. Under SOC, the writers have removed most of the nasty aspects of Babe's character, showing that she was going to use the Cokers' money to set up a savings account for Ollie. And she hasn't really been scheming of late.

It's led me to believe that she's going to get a low profile departure with the door open for a return. She's not a high profile exit like Ronnie, Roxy or Lee and the whole set up so far makes it seem like she'll leave on a relatively quiet note.

I think using Ollies name on the account, was a ploy. But I agree she may leave quietly.

I think she'll unzip her head, fart and then bugger off back to Raxacoricofallapatorius.

Maybe she falls for Derek, he asks her to be his companion on her cruise. She accepts thinking this will be her channce to pop her cherry not realising he is gay.

Babe is probably the best example of a strong character being left in limbo and caught between two stools in the transition between two EPs. Thought she has been probably the most intriguing if not hated character on EE for months and yet with the exposure of her swindling and repaying the Cokers, se seems to have drifted into the background.

I think she has a load of potential yet to cause more rancour and chaos as Abby's still there, she could have stirred more trouble between Whitney and Lee and of course been a constant thorn in the side of Mick and Lee. Not sure where her role's going right now but it would be good to revitalise her as she's a good character in terms of creating more storylines, of course as long as she's not overused.

Is she still filming?

I hope "low profile" means "slowly lowered into a vat of acid". Because that would be fun.

I'm in no hurry for Babe to leave; I think she's still fairly good value at this point and it will be good to have her with the Carters over Christmas as she adds a bit of spice. Ultimately she was too morally bankrupt a character to keep round indefinitely but they don't need to rush to get rid of her. And hopefully when she does go it will be a darkly comic ending as that's the style Annette Badland excels in.

I'll miss Babe.

Annette Badland is a great addition to the production and she brings something edgy to the Carters.

DTC did write her as a panto villian though, she needed to have some layers added. We needed to explore her virginity and her unhealthy relationship with men. We also needed to see why she bullies others (Abi, Les, Pam).
