Hey y'all. Week 10

I can see Ed and Judge both escaping and if that happens The Judge could win the whole thing.

This week has Louise waltzing to the top of the leaderboard written all over it.

OK I'll be the first this week

Bottom Ed & Katya
Highest Louise & Kevin
B2 Claudia & AJ and Ore & Joanne
Eliminated Ore and Joanne

Highest Louise
Lowest Ed
B2 it's out of Ore, Judge and Claudia. Out of them, if he's in the last two the Judge goes. Most interesting b2 is Ore v Claudia, where I have no idea who they would save. I'm going to say Judge v Ore with Judge going, but I think it's wide open this week.

Highest - Louise
Lowest - Ed (even if somebody else falls over, they are all so far ahead of him that it wouldn't make any difference)

Cha-Cha Challenge (top to bottom):

Danny
Louise
Claudia
Ore
Judge
Ed

Bottom 2 - Claudia and Ore (both have quite tricky dances with not brilliant music)
Eliminated - Ore (judges will want to keep a second female in for a bit longer yet)

I think the Cha Cha thing will break the ties and lead to ed being in the bottom 2 alongside Ore

Mornin StrictlyL and all ...

Here goes

Highest Louise and Kevin
Lowest Ed and Katya
Bottom Two Claudia and JR
Eliminated JR

I think Louise, Danny and Ed are safe from the DO, which leaves only
Ore, Claudia and JR

I think Ore would beat either of the other two and Claudia would beat JR, so am going for Claudia v JR

- Although I agree with jtnorth that - if it was an Ore v Claudia DO - this would be harder for the judges, not wanting to eliminate yet another female.

I can see this happening but I couldn't call which of them they would pick to go.

A lot will say they won't eliminate a Clifton.

I'm quite excited about this weekend - not just about the prospective routines but also how the producers manage the demands of a successful light entertainment show in which there are only two female celebs left, one outstanding male celeb and three very interesting male celebs for different reasons.

It goes without saying that Ed will be bottom of the leaderboard but who will be in the B2?

I guess it depends on how Ed and Katya pull off their tango. If it's to the standard of their salsa then I suspect they will stay out of the B2. Can judge Rinder pull off the same trick and if so can anyone see both of the remaining female celebs ending up in the B2? I can't.

Based on previous appearances in the dance off I'm thinking that this week's DO will be between Claudia and Ore. Ore will have to clearly outdance Claudia in order to survive and avoid Jameliagate 2 Although it would be fun to see Len wheeled out on ITT again to explain why it wasn't a stitch-up if that were to happen

So many things are in the mix this weekend and I'm loving it

I agree with your reasoning and share your excitement. It's a critical week for both of favourites and makes it all the more exciting.

I can only predict bottom of the leader board

Ed and Katya

as for the rest

I personally think we will be in for a very shocking bottom 2 and it wont be Ed or Robert

Don't you just like it when the Joodges come up with yet another reason to explain why their illogical decision was the only correct one ...

I reckon (sadly) that Ore is going this week. He's got bad music and he's had his bounce.

Ed seems safe with a tango to something very recognisable.
Danny and Louise seem auto-safe.
Claudia should get a B2 bounce, but it may not make enough difference with so few left now and is in danger.
Rindy - could do either way and is a test of his popularity.

Top - Danny/Oti
Bottom - Ed/Katya
B2 - Ore/Claudia

Ore goes.
What name??

Top Louise & Kevin
Bottom Ed

Dance off Rinder v (Can't make my mind up... Ore)

I'm going to be in the minority here. I really think that Claudia will top the leaderboard with her AT; prior to the cha-cha -athon at least . She has the ability to do so and to my knowledge gymnasts in particular always EXCEL in this particular dance. The only way that Louise can end up top of the leaderboard by the end of the night is if she wins the chacha-athon ( or comes 2nd) which she is capable of doing knowing the judges. Louise's Latin is poor compared to Claudia but the judges seem to favor the former between the 2. We'll see.

Highest : Claudia

Lowest : Ed

Bottom 2 : Ore and The judge

Eliminated : the judge

I don't believe it's as easy to compare Louise and Claudia's latin as you suggest. Neither have done salsa, Louise hasn't done samba and Claudia hasn't done rumba. Louise's jive was a clean performance but Claudia's had mistakes.

Also I don't buy into the suggestion that Louise has been favoured by the judges and here I use the judges reaction to Claudia's jive as an example - nines across the board even though they mentioned the errors, yet they didn't criticise Louise's paso and two of the judges gave her the same score.

I know you said favoured between the two, but there were a couple of other examples from the Blackpool scoring - Darcey mentioned Ore's head in the VW and still gave him a ten, and although Robert had mistakes in his Salsa (Len picked up on the lift and the timing going wrong) Darcey scored him a nine, as she did Louise's paso.
