Is Lynda Baron coming back as Jane's Mum? Lynda couldn't film the third series of Still Open All Hours citing her contract to EE as the reason. However the third series of Still Open didn't start filming until October, and Linda Clarke was last seen in June.

Im wondering if they are testing the water with new characters before bringing them in full time. Plus with having axed a quarter of the cast they need to bump up the numbers until full cast members turn up.
