Change the rules for people being picked to do trials.

Time to introduce a rule that stops the same person from being picked to do the trials two days running, introduce a rule where once someone has been picked and done a trial they then have immunity from being picked the to do the next two, so that way more of the campmates get to do one rather than just sit gloating because they got away without being picked.

I totally agree, the likes of Ola and Sam just fade into the background as they don't have any 'highlights' to show of them.

Plus I find it boring seeing the same people doing trials.

I'd have to agree, I even get the feeling if he was able to be nominated, Martin would have been doing it again along with Adam AGAIN

Despite their "Yay's" when not chosen, you can see them deflate at the missed opportunity of camera time 😉

I thought I had read on a thread that Ant and Dec said last week you cannot vote for so and so to do a trial again as they had done tonights, so actually thought the rules had been changed.

But obviously not, same old

Yes - I thought they said that too, Sherisgirl. Odd that they did that only the once (if I heard them correctly).

Yeah after the eating trial that Scarlett and Carol were chosen for, they weren't eligible for the following trial for some reason. Don't know why they only did it once.

At least this year the trials have been somewhat spread out among the camp and it's not just one or two being repeatedly picked. I would like to see Lisa, Larry, Wayne etc have a go.

they must make money from the phone votes, and that's the name of the game, they have to pay Ant n' Dec's huge wages somehow

Well I think they wont be making much money from phone votes this year when you can download the free app and get five free votes every vote

My memory might be going gaga but I seem to recall that in the dim and distant past the camp-mates decided amongst themselves who was to do the trial......

I think that was in the days of the rubber crocodiles

That happens later in the series once the evictions start - we vote to keep, so they decide who does the trials.

I've said for ages that if a celebrity is voted to do two trials by the public, they're immune from the remainder of the trial votes. That way, over the 11 days or so of trial voting, at least 6 different celebrities will do one, rather than the same 2-3.

Is it not app voting only for the trials this year? No phone numbers have been read out yet.

I can't see it happening.

That series where it was absolutely ridiculous with Helen, was the time this would have been under the largest pressure to be actioned.

Unless there's a serial trialist to that extent again, I can't see it happening.

I do agree to a certain extent, the year Jordan returned and voted to do what 5? In a row somewhat ruined that series

How do you know that they don't?
Given the highlights we're currently getting I don't see how any highlights of them could possibly be less interesting.

I'd just like to see more of some of them like Lisa, Sam and Orla, just to see what they're like in there.

Yes you're right. When it comes to choosing amongst themselves who does the trial most of them usually end up fighting over each other to get the chance to do them. Which often ends up with one of them sulking when somebody got chosen over them.

This year is actually the best year in ages in terms of who the public have voted.

The person who has done the most is Adam with 3. In other years people were doing in for literally every single one (eg. Janice, Katie Price 2nd time, Helen, Gillian etc...

This year it's more spread:

1st trial- Scarlett and Carol
2nd trial- Adam, Joel, Jordan and Wayne
3rd trial- Joel
4th trial- Martin
5th trial- Adam
6th trial- Danny and Adam

One things true, for the first time, the men seem to be suffering from the trial vote.

Janice did 7/9 she was up for.
Katie Price did 6
Gillian did 6
Helen did 7
Joey Essex did 5
Kendra did 6. Edwina did
Lady C did 4

So far, Adam has the most with 3. So no dominance really.

Yes, I heard that too and thought that (finally) they had introduced that rule to avoid the serial trialist. However, I think they only said it that time because there was some reason that they wouldn't be back in time or something?

Having said that, there does at least seem to be a much better spread this year anyway. It's so dull when people continually vote for the ones who won't do the trial.
