What are your hopes for his second album? I hope he sticks to the same sound. Mind Of Mine is my favourite album of 2016.

I think it covers September to September? so he falls into the new artist category.
Its a shame Zayn's anxiety holds him back so much but he still makes great music.
Agreed. Unless he is going for the Kate Bush-type career path? I still play his debut regularly and it still sounds great.
I was shocked how good this album is. Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself loving a 1D member's album, but it's brilliant. Reminds me very much of Dev Hynes.

The quality totally shocked me...
clearly he suffers with anxiety issues. I applaud his openness about this and despite this he has made more appearances than one would normally. I think his debut album is very strong and has established him as an artist not just an ex boyband member. He will be interesting to watch. I do expect some grammy nominations!
I like Zayn as a solo artist, he always had the most talent in One Direction as far as I'm concerned.
As for the AMA award, Personally I would have preferred it to go to Shawn Mendes. The kid is seriously talented and very mature for his age.

I'd prefer an album from any of the others bar Louis to be honest, Harry, Liam and Niall are very talented
I find Zayn very unlikeable, another Geri and Robbie who left their band cos they didn't like sharing the fame IMO

Oh I love Shawn!! I would have been happy if he won too but still thrilled for Zayn. I think Shawn should clean up at the Grammy's.

Really looking forward to Harry's album and he's also a fantastic performer who adores live shows, so his tour will be a real treat.
Zayn had a phenomenal producer (Malay) for Mind of Mine. A lot of it was auto-tuned and the lyrics (Z's own) were pretty cheesy and clichéd. He's only as good as his team.
