Just wondered what everyone's thoughts on her as Tabby are. I personally love her and think she is great as the Nightingale matriarch.

Its both for me as I loved her on Dallas, I mean she was TVs best drunk, now I do find the character of Tabby interesting, I like that she doesn't like Mac and Tabby scares Marnie a bit which is good, since Marnie appeared she has been walking over just about every character in the village.
I like how certain of her characteristics have influenced subsequent generations. James has inherited some of her coldness, Marnie some snobbishness.
Whilst not disliking Tabby (would love to have seen her locking horns more with Mac over time) she has provided some depth and backstory to Marnie and with it a degree (only small) of sympathy for her.

I really liked her. She fitted in with the nightingales like a glove. I found her goading and sniping towards Mac to be highly ammusing. 😜
It was also nice to see a bit of depth for marnie. I have no love for that woman but it was just refreshing to see her in a scene where she wasnt scheming or being prickly. Yesterday's episode was the most human we've seen her.
