Why are Larry and Scarlett almost always exempt from doing the trials?

I have to agree with the majority of people on this thread. Larry has pretty much been exempt every time, it's getting annoying when it comes to choosing someone and you only have a limited number out of 12. As for Scarlett, I have no idea WHY she is usually exempt...pretty much no reason as far as I know.

As someone said earlier, I don't think you should be able to go in the jungle unless you can do the tasks. It's ridiculous

Didn't I read that Scarlett has bells palsy? http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/i...ttling-9281685

It may well be why she can't do some of the trials.

She's certainly been ballsy enough in the trials she has done though. I think she's shown her mettle.

I believe that Wayne said his Dad does all of his DIY so there's more than one pampered prince/princess in there.

ETA: For me it's an entertainment show, she's proven very entertaining so far and comes over very well, no ego at all. Most of them are coming over well (bar the new people) to be fair!

My daughter had bells palsey when she was 14, it has never stopped her doing anything. In fact once her face went back to normal she has led a perfectly normal life. If she had any problems we would never have put it down to bells palsey.

Scarlett is probably exempt because of her nails. She might ruin them doing someting physical.

Not really much point complaining is there? They want person x, Person x can't do a trial they make a a choice. We have no say in it”

^This^. My thoughts exactly. It is annoying when, it seems every year now, certain celebs are exempt from trials due to health issues. Why bother going in. I first noticed this when Biggins was in. He hardly did any trials yet went on to win!!

I agree if they're declared unfit to do some trials, then they shouldn't be allowed to take part, it's not fair on the others.

Scarlett has a blood pressure issue and one minute she can be fine and the next flat out and that's why she can't do heights or water

Gogglebox must pay well if she can just write a cheque to buy her parents house, without really thinking about it.

If Scarlett Moffatt wins Im a Celebrity by not doing a single Bushtucker Trial then there are going to be so many complaints. And will probably lose viewers because of it

The viewers wont like seeing this and she might not win the show because of this

At least Adam has done these trials on his own and the public seem to like him. And i think he should be the new favourite to win

She did the eating trial with Carol. She also did the live trial and the coffin one so I'm not sure what people are complaining about.

No,it is the public's business. Its a show that's played out on ITV where viewers are being asked to vote.

For me - she (and Carol) have done the hardest of trials - the eating ones! So they'd both get a pass from me!

If Dr Bob says they're exempt - they're exempt.

Larry is someone who I as looking forward to watching in the trials when I saw him squatting one of the blokes. The bloke he was squatting couldn't even squat Larry once. I was impressed and wanted to see Larry do well in the trials.

Well isn't that more reason to complain? Not that I was making a complaint, it was more of a question. It kind of undermines the reasoning that health reasons prevents them from taking part in trials when it's a vote.

It's true that Scarlett did do the eating trial. But I think that if Larry is up for the vote viewers may have to snatch the opportunity to vote for him when they can as the opportunity may not present itself again.

With Scarlett I would imagine it's a health and safety issue if you notice it is trials that involve being in water so she has to be exempt simply because she can't keep her mouth shut long enough and would probably end up drowning.
