Each to his own.”

As you can't stand Martin. As for your other point, do you not think she knows she would be stupid to do most trials. I think she's been briefed, scripted and dispatched and if you don't agree fine but this being a dog with a bone over your disagreeing is becoming very tedious now.

Then don't do it. You don't have to discuss anything with me.
This is a discussion forum, not one large appreciation thread or somewhere to post unqualified and incontrovertible statements.
I don't believe anything of the kind about Scarlett because I don't need to. You and others are claiming she's an attention seekers and at the same time accusing her of being an attention avoider. Simply looking and failing to find something to attack her with by doing so.. The same applies to selective fantasies about exemptions.
No I can't stand Martin and I don't care that much for Scarlett or the amount of airtime both of them and others have been given instead of far more interesting and experienced people. I wish they'd stop using the same unfair, annoying and tedious format every series.

I wonder if it's because of perforated eardrums... Pressure on the ears from heights or being under water are very painful and can cause infection inside the inner ear

Don't do what? Keep sticking to my opinion.

Poor Scarlett. I can't believe some of these dreadful comments written about a very nice, funny young woman, on a reality show, probably written by adults, who are parents themselves. It's just poison, and now people are implying
that she is either lying about having health issues, or that the producers are conspiring to allow her to slide through to the final

I think she's extraordimarily brave, going into the jungle with a load of celebs. Obviously.she felt a bit like an imposter, but her natural charm has enabled her to fit right in

There might be a hundred reasons why she's exempt from some trials, but she's given it 110% in the ones she's tackled.

Why do some people try to invalidate her, by mocking her for how she looks, by making out it's all a conspiracy to push her for the win? How on earth would her winning benefit television to the extent that producers would risk accusations of fraud? It's incredible!!

As for saying she shouldn't be on the show if she has health challenges - this is 2016! Why should we exclude people based on their disabilities? Everybody deserves the same opportunities.

Scarlett seems to be a lovely, down to earth girl, who is pushing herself more than half of the celebs in there!

We should be told surely? There are those who state it's their private business, I call bullshit on that. If they want their so called health problem' to remain private then don't go on a show that essentially involves trials that may require you to participate. Utterly ludicrous.

My view is that if you cannot do the trials, then you shouldn't be on the show. Simples. After all, that is the point isn't it?

I totally agree they shouldnt be there if they cant share the trials, but then the Godfather only sits dishing out orders , mumbling and whispering.............forgot about that.

Scarlett has a bell's palsy that she is still suffering from years later. That's why she can't do anything that would be too strenuous on that part of her face. It's also why she has to wear goggles in nearly all the challenges because her eye twitches and could get damaged.

She also can't swim.

Larry is an age thing - they can't get the insurance for him to do some of the really big trials.

2 in 10 people suffer further effects of a bell's palsy. My mum had one and her face droops from where she had it, and it was almost 25 years ago now.
