True but I didn't think that his Viennese waltz song and AT tango song were great; the latter was especially awful imo. I was so disappointed with it the AT is my favorite dance and I prefer it danced to traditional music and imagine when I found out their song ...especially after Louise and Kevin from the week's before.

ED IMO has been favored more than most with his song choices and not a lot of people talk about that.

Tbh I think that all of them had their shares of a mix bag as far as songs are concerned; it's true though that some had it more than others.

when it gets this far in the show with only 6 couples left to make it fair the music should be equally appropriate

With that music for samba gives Danny a head start

Lorde's version to Everybody Wants to Rule the world for a Paso Doble jesus wept.

If someone has to dance samba to Magalenha then I'm glad it's a male who can move his hips

Oh Nina, don't, I'm laughing again, pack it in, I'm glad your knickers are aligned!lol. Just trying to say in the scheme of things does it really matter? I love Danny and his music I agree is most suitable for his dance, and I know he's been great, and hope he will be again Saturday, but Samba is a bit of a funny one, might not be his best, the only one I have ever really really enjoyed without needing cushions was Matt & Aliona's in Blackpool!

Well at least everyone's is as equally as crap this week

Whoever's picking the music must've had a bad week this week with the amount of dreary numbers, maybe his wife left him for having such bad taste in music.

PERFECT SAMBA SONG.

Love this song, much slower than Laura's Samba song. Still Samba is hard and anything could happen.

I also like Buble's 'At this moment' song, good for a waltz.

Danny and Ed have great songs. Louise's I don't know. Robert's I can see an argument for and against, same with the Timberlake. I don't know that version of Rule the World but the version I do know sounds too languid for a paso. Just looking at the songs I'd say Ore and Robert are most disadvantaged.

Oh Danny will be fine, and I'm sure he'll produce a quality samba.

As Bendy said though, music can really set the tone for a performance, and novices need that assistance most. Danny has been blessed with lots of great tracks.

Real Brazilian music for a samba??????

Well, that is a first, HALLELUJAH!!!

Seriously though, TPTB really want a dance off between Ore and Rinder judging by those horrific choices.

I kind of agree, but I do think samba is one of the harder dances and can also be the most cringey! (Put rhumba in that category too) don't really like either of those tbh and I don't think anyone has had decent music to those so far!

Fabulous Samba music for Danny & Oti. Feel for Ore & Joanna having to Paso to that awful, dreary song.

Ore's music is subtle for a paso but it is at least subtly dramatic. I think Jo will make something of this.

Though I wish they'd bribe whoever Oti bribed

How the heck are Ore and Joanne supposed to dance a Paso Doble to that? Ed and Katya will be going for a slightly comical Tango with that song, somewhat unsurprisingly. Danny and Oti's music suit the style down to the ground and I can't wait for Judge Rinder and Oksana's Rumba now; I think Oksana may have choreographed something very special. Louise and Kevin's music seems very stop start for a Waltz; he's going to have to choreograph well to get round that. Cry Me A River has a vibe about it which might just work as an Argentine Tango for Claudia and AJ.

Louise and Kevin have got an amazing song for a waltz, but everyone is only going on about Danny's song.

The worst choice for me is Ore's.

Of similar speed but more power https://youtu.be/u9Dg-g7t2l4 although it would take too long for strictly purposes to build up momentum for a Paso with this music.

Well, if I'm going to be picky, it's not a "pure" samba (it's a mix between samba and a rhythm typical from the northeast of Brazil called Baião) but I'm more than happy with that, any latin dance danced to latin music and I'm pleased

I started listening to that song by Lorde, and it was only at the very end that i realised that it was the Tears for Fears song, which she had butchered!

Does Louise Rainbow understand ANYTHING about music or dancing?

Is there such a thing as the Paso-Rumba? I think that's what Ore and Jo are doing
🙄

I started listening and halfway through I wanted to kill myself, such a cheerful song.

Ore, Claudia or Rindy for the drop then based on this little lot. Louise's doesn't seem great either, but not quite such an unholy muckup as the other three. Danny and Ed should be fine.

Feeling pretty sorry for Ore at the moment to be honest. He is a good natural dancer, got built up to the skies, ticked off for being over-emotional and has been savaged by the dart-throwers with his music nearly as often as Claudia. Good luck to Jo if she can make anything out of this one.
