Feeling pretty sorry for Ore at the moment to be honest. He is a good natural dancer, got built up to the skies, ticked off for being over-emotional and has been savaged by the dart-throwers with his music nearly as often as Claudia. Good luck to Jo if she can make anything out of this one.”

Nahhh, he's the judges' pet, dontcha know?

I like Ed's Tango song and Danny has great music.

Dreadful and dull version of Everybody Wants to Rule the World, which lumbers Ore and Joanne with a very tough dance to make anything of. It does seem to have a few metallic 'clanks' in it to make it sound dramatic in places, but I am not impressed.
I see they have given the dismal Ed another audience pleasing very easy ride popular song choice with 'I can't get no satisfaction' Sigh.

I'm ecstatic. This could top Matt Baker as THE samba of Strictly if it goes right.

Claudia and A.J. have also been given a difficult song to make something of to an AT.
My prediction of it being an Ore versus Claudia dance off this week looks a closer probability. And shhh, you know who will IMO get undeservingly through, yet again.

"If" it goes right! As much as I want Danny to do a fantastic Samba, it really is a hard one to do! I think I'd go into meltdown if he did top Matt's Samba, that is one of my all time faves even tho not a fan of Samba!xd

Ps still thinking of matts hips as I type, he did get told off by len though for the end back flips, gonna have to duck into you tube to rewatch now!

Yes, I agree. Seemingly, it's perfectly okay for Danny to get good songs and music for his dances, but not Louise.

She's not even my favourite, but I thought people were nuts to say she's the chosen one in regards to music!

Actually don't think they are too bad, although I hope the singers don't try to mimic Lorde's style of singing! I can hear it now, and it won't be good.

Am I the only one who thinks Louise's song is amazing, I love that song, will be a fabulous waltz.

Listened to the music for Louise's waltz; good for a waltz but I find the song insipid. Ore's paso music is appalling. Feel sorry for him this week. Jo needs to work wonders with the choreography!

Absolutely love that song.

I like the song and it could work for something else maybe a rhumba not a paso. Didn't Jo or Ore really annoy the guy who arranges the songs.

Dart-throwers of music really does sum it up doesn't it?

Danny gets all the best music (most weeks) has the judges on side with the marking he's a true underdog story I'm telling you.

I like Ore of the beginners he is the best but for what ever reason (dancing with a Clifton the crying) he has not got the support. He should really be what the show is about a beginner getting to a high level but no one seems interested in that type of storyline anymore.

Judge Rinder and Oksana will be dancing the Rumba to ‘Lean On Me’ by Bill Withers
Louise and Kevin will be dancing the Waltz to ‘At This Moment’ by Michael Buble
Ore and Joanne will be dancing the Paso Doble to ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ by Lorde”

I think they said on ITT that it's Seal's version rather than Bill Withers' original version, if that makes any difference...

It's like everyone wants the finished article, the pre-cooked meal, the instant fix. Not the joy or the pain of learning. Ore is uneven. His Charleston was unwatchable. But he's captured more fully the joy of dance when it goes right than anyone, IMO. Arguably Judge Rinder has. I find it mildly depressing how little interest people seem to have in 'that type of storyline'.

Yes not sure that Mark Rampakash type would win now. Its sad how little credit that Ore has got for getting to a decent level of dance.

Mimi - as much as I revere you as an FM, I will have to challenge you to a duel over that. Lorde is magnificent, one of the most original and refreshing artists to have emerged in the last decade.

I am sure we will have people like Ramps win in the future. It's just this year, so competitive and so different from previous years.

I like Lorde immensely, and I think her arrangement is more fitting to the lyrics, but a Paso song - sheesh.

Good for AT though!

I am in major denial about that one. In my eyes she was the biggest female 'Ringer'
I am sure she must have had previous dance training, just covered up well.
May be Caroline Flack??
