Reminds me of a similar story years ago, if I remember correctly; the actor Brian Capron got deliberately whacked by an old lady's handbag for his portrayal as Richard Hillman!

I find it hard to believe that in the 21st century a human being can't separate an actor from a fictional character.

I think those that do this believe they're actors so it's part of their job. If they shouted the abuse at members of the general public then they'd either get some back or a slap. Being an actor shouldn't be any different. Rhea actually says in the article she wanted to say who the hell you talking to but couldn't, She has to be polite. She should have said what she wanted to say.
