Iv been in a similar situation. We knew they were making us redundant but refused to confirm anything at all so that we wouldn't be able to go for interviews or anything. Sadly for them not all of us are stupid and
I had a job lined up who were happy to wait for them to do the official you are redundant and the fact they had to pay us a months wages cos they didn't do the proper notice as they should have. I started the new job the next day and it has been beyond a silver lining

Thank you, it is awful but while I ha;f expected it anyway I've been given a tip off from people on the other shift. It does amaze me when management don't think that people don't talk to other departments and shifts, especially in this age of instant communication!
