Jordan using the old sentimental trick. Why bring it up if you're not going to accept the others offer to give up a couple of meaningless glasses of wine?

So he bought nothing? He should have just had a cup of tea if he didn't want wine.

I thought it was actually quite selfish of him to make others feel awkward about getting a treat. I can;t warm to him.

Hard to disagree with this episode.

It's a cheap ploy. Certainly as cheap as saying "I want to call me mam"

He wanted the others to feel guilty & bad by not having anything on the list & saying he just wanted his luxury item. He could have still got a drink or something, im sure the others wanted to hear from their lover one's aswell but instead of making a big deal they just got other stuff that was cheaper.

What's the story with his dad then? Anyone know why this letter is so important to him?

Me neither. He just comes across as very cosseted and self-absorbed.

He's come out with some great one-liners - "You need to channel your inner Larry", "Jordan Ramsey" and another I forget ATM - which isn't too bad, as he's only had about 5 mins airtime in the whole series so far!
I like him.

He probably has been cossetted to a certain extent. When he was very young his time was spent between school and training to be a dancer; he was a member of a dance group known as Swift Moves Juniors, all of which probably gave him very little time to get "kitchen-wise".

Since, with his brother Ashley, starting the group Diversity, with which they and travel the world with their own shows which they choreograph and design themselves; they've taken part in films, and work as choreographers in other films and shows, they now probably have even less time.

But to be honest, he doesn't claim to be clever, and is not above himself to the extent he seems unwilling to learn whatever he can.

Fair comment. I don't dislike him, just find him hard to engage with, and his 'martydom' last night didn't help.
