I guess to her, he's always been the parent who takes her in when her mum has dumped her (like in 2010).

Hope they revitalise the Shaki and Bex storyline. Think the show's lacking their involvement.

Struggling to understand the fixation with Tilly. I take it this is a fixation with her and not the character she plays? Regarding her part as Louise, nothing great, she's OK. Don't know anything about the actress.

Really? I've noticed people going the other way on here. Anyone - particularly female - even vaguely attractive gets a rough ride from certain posters no matter how good or bad they are. And she's certainly not crap. She out-acted Letitia Dean twice last week.

Out acting Letitia Dean is not a difficult task.

I guess perception is a funny thing. I tend to agree with BZR, although I wouldn't go so far as to say she's crap (though she has been pretty bad on occasion.) I haven't seen anywhere near as much criticism for her as I've seen for some of the weaker male actors on the show, and I certainly haven't noticed that more conventionally attractive actors get a harder time. Look at Shona who plays Whitney; easily the most beautiful actress in the cast according to popular opinion on here, and she's also highly praised for her acting. Maybe with Tilly it genuinely is that she's been miscast and not that we're, y'know, so jealous of her prettiness?

I think she's a decent enough actress as soap actors go.

Well I said certain posters, and I never mentioned jealousy. All you've got to do is look around here, on thread after thread. And this isn't a recent thing, it's been going on here for years. Female - and male, to a lessser degree - actors to use your term 'conventionally attractive' get some poisonous - poisonous - stuff posted about them on here.

I tend to ignore the posters who put absolutely poisonous stuff on here. I don't think they're representative of the valid discussion this forum can and does generate. And I can't say that I've seen numerous examples of this type of attack on attractive actors that you're talking about. It's never really crossed my mind. A lot of actors, attractive or not, can be unfairly judged on here, from what I've seen.
