Her communication skills are pretty ropey and she comes across pretty naive (or dumb acting) - could she get her own ITV Be show? I doubt she could get any work on the main channel.
I just don't get the Scarlett thing. OK, she's got an unusual Christian name, prominent teeth and a cartoonish Northern accent which, combined, makes her a bit more memorable, but I just don't see why she is liked so much.
1. Has written (and/or fronted) her own book which reached number 1 in the Sunday Times bestsellers list earlier in the year.
2. Currently co-hosts Capital Breakfast in the North East while regular co-host is on maternity leave.
3. Weight loss video launches Boxing Day, likely to be a best seller.
4. Gave up normal work as a disability adviser a year ago.
5. Is currently appearing on I'm A Celebrity ...
6. Has paid off parents' mortgage.
7. A leading cast member of Channel 4's most popular show.
8. On course for around £250-300k earnings this year and higher next year.
So like it or not she already has a media career.
As far as ITV (main channel) prospects are concerned, who would have put money on Cilla Black or Ant & Dec becoming top presenters? At a lesser but still lucrative level even Lisa Riley had a fairly long run. So it is a bit too early to say.
Scarlett, hmmm. I was 'like' and it was 'like ad nauseam.
Why cannot the current young generation of people express themselves or construct a sentence without resorting to the word 'like' all the time.

Just as smart and likeable as Vicky or Stacey and not as quirky as Stacey. Should win this , unless one of the hunks has a big vote, Just needs right agent and the right ideas.
no, I hope not. She has no talent. I don't find her funny or entertaining on this or Gogglebox, her voice/accent is grating, she's unattractive and just another fame hungry wannabe.

It's wrong but not being hugely attractive will hold her back for itv2 c5 shows and similar
I don't dislike the girl but no I don't think she will have any decent sort of media career. They keep trying that with Vicki Pattison and it's not working. Flogging a dead horse comes to mind
Aren't we already at saturation point with the glut of reality tv types bring forced upon us?
Apart from ITVBE, guest spots on spin off shows and the likes of Celebrity Juice, is there really any options left for low ranking zelebs?

Indeed - she already HAS a media career. In addition to the above she's also appeared on that Beauty show and on First Dates. I'd say she's an intelligent person (in the 'quick' sense rather than the academic sense and has the kind of personality ideally suited to programmes like Loose Women and reality show panels.
