It's all to nicey nice and a bit dull for my liking. It's missing big fiery personalities and characters like previous series. There doesn't need to be rows 24/7 but there's just something about this series that is just flat .

A couple of days in I said this series needs a Jimmy Bullard or Timmy Mallett.

Not someone nasty and in your face like Danny, but a maverick/clown with nothing to lose who's just there for a laugh. Someone who will play the fool to save tree hugging, pretending to talk to toads and tickling someone's cheek with a bit of grass from taking up 5 minutes of an hour long edit.

My view on this has not changed.

I'm quite enjoying the boringness of this years I'm a Celeb - I find it cathartic. As much as I liked the series with Lady C, Hadley and the arguments etc, I'm liking this series more... Must be getting old or something...

I found last series hard to watch. All the constant arguments and nastiness was too much. This series is much easier to watch as they are getting along and they are enjoying themselves. It's much more feel-good this year, and I definitely prefer this type of series than one that has a nasty, uncomfortable feel.

On the one hand we get moaning its too boring, on the other its too nasty with bullies in the camp.

I'm enjoying this series with them being funny and it's light hearted feeling. And with viewing figures of 8.8 million it seems I'm not alone.
What's fun seeing people bitching at each other?
GBBO, Strictly and now IAC, showing being nice gets viewers.

Those celebs are so boring that ITV had to introduce an extra bugs/treats task to fill the show.

I'm just finding the trials incredibly boring........same old, same old........

bugs and things around the head.........yawn

I think it's got to the stage where it's not worth watching 'live' but leaving until the next day on Catch Up where you can fast forward through the trials

I wish they'd have more fun trials, something different

eg why not some like a trial where they all have to work together have to build a raft and two people have to sail it across a pond to win......

or construct a treehouse that will hold 7 of them for 10 minutes without falling down

something like that

I'm the same, I just haven't connected with this series at all. I saw the first episode on the Sunday, but after that I just couldn't be bothered. Although, in other series, I've always found the arguing and nastiness incredibly off putting (I hated Lady C last year) I much prefer it when they're all getting on and mucking in together, and I've always thought that the 'aggressors' in those situations just want more air time.

Even so, maybe my love for IAC has waned. and I know when I tell my sister, she is going to be horrified. she'll accuse me of not having a life one of her favourite sayings, bless her.

I skipped tonight...this series, for me, is a drop in and out job. Moffatt and Joel deffo in the final...all so predictable

I skipped tonight's episode as well, which is not like me. I guess I am just getting bored with the series too and the obvious bias of the producers/presenters. I agree with you, it's becoming all rather predictable.

What I find boring is I don't think there is any weak link when it comes to the BTT . They're all succeeding and getting near max stars and they're all to well fed .

Better when you have someone like Helen Flanagan, Gillian Keith etc who might only bring back a few stars and less food as a result .

At the moment its just like a holiday camp and boring .

I'm struggling too. There doesn't need to be constant arguing or anything (I find that draining personally) but there's just something... lacking this series. Can't get into it even though I've tried.

They are having it way to easy in there this year, they are getting near enough all the stars even the likes of Martin & Adam who you would think would be rubbish because they are so terrified still managed to get most of the stars. They are getting all the questions right for the dingo dollar task so are getting treats everyday. Now they get a shopping list with wine & ketchup on it etc not to mention the hot tub & now the hot showers they are going to get aswell they have only been in there a week.

Agree. It's the most enjoyable series for years imo. They're the tightest group I can remember and are embracing the team ethic.
After the misery of last year it's nice to have some light relief

Agree with others.

Something's not working this series. The contestants are all a bit bland, nice but bland.

The tasks haven't been that difficult and just a bit same old, same old and for some reason Ant and Dec seem to be phoning this series in.

I'm finding myself doing other things when the shows on.

I said it was going to be dull from day one. I dipped in last night and heard overpaid footballer Wayne bridge moaning that had to get up and train xmas day.

Then scarlet repeating the conversation to the telegraph saying how sorry she felt for him as soon as that happened I used the c word and turned it over final straw

I have no problem watching this years bunch of celebs I quite enjoy their interaction together what we get of it, and that is my gripe we don't get enough of it, far too much of Ant & Dec with all the up-coming stuff and recap montages and their boring repetitive scripted fake banter, that's why if there is something more interesting to watch on another channel like last nights 'Ordinary Lies' drama on BBC I watch that instead and am not fussed about missing 'I'm a celeb' and don't even bother with it on catch-up either.

This is THE worst series I have seen. Where as before, there would be a big personality who would loose it over the smallest thing, there isn't here. The closest we have is Danny loosing it with Martin (which lasted about 1/2 a night) even that wasn't the same.

Every task they are winning nearly maximum stars every time. It's boring, I miss when they would get 1 or 2 stars at a time. I miss them maybe splitting the camp up and then them going to head to head, to see who will eat that night

This series is just boring, flat, dour, uneventful. Something needs to change

I 'watched' the whole thing last night in ten minutes tops.
Awful and needs constant fast-forwarding.

I am watching out of loyalty and because nothing else on the other side, but do agree, I think its they are quite savvy and are making it look to easy, they need some trials which are impossible to complete but will get a few stars,

Danny and the guy last night to easy, more tanks needed 10 mins 5 tanks each, 2 stars in each hidden.

A bit boring now to be honest, they even had to pressure Martin into making mad passionate to a tree to try and make us laugh, didnt winner Tony Blackburn talk to logs... Martins son must be made up with his dads behaviour. Why not silent Dan Keith who doesnt seem to do much as a special campmate, might be fun..
