Go and get yourself some FitFlops. They are fab for PF and very comfy to walk in. I have been to 2 weddings this year and worn them, got 2 pairs (one pewter and one lilac colour) with very sparkly dangly bits on them and they looked great with a posh dress.
If you can cope with toe posts, then something like this would be OK for a spring wedding, a little bit sparkle makes all the difference. . http://www.fitflop.co.uk/en/fitflop-...945955242.html Or you could just go for the plain loafers, these will be like your trainers but quite possibly a lot more comfortable than your trainers for the PF. http://www.fitflop.co.uk/en/womens/v...035083236.html |

Trainers will probably aggravate your plantar fasciitis as they are flat and unsupportive. You need a shoe with a slight wedge or heel with cushioned insoles and a shock absorbing soles, fitflops or flyflot are two brands that offer that.

I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and the best shoes I have found are "Pavers"
Have just looked at their web site and they have some really nice sandal type flatties. If you feel you can only wear 👟 I really wouldn't worry, I went to the theatre once with a surgical boot on one foot as I had a bad reaction to a wasp bite. Remember humans are very unobservant, likely very few people will even notice your footwear.🌺

I have never ever been able to wear heels, I just can't walk in them. For something more dressy I wear pretty wedges, they are mid height but your foot is flatish in them so they are so comfortable. I'll show you what I mean.
