I'm rubbish at stuff like that, and if I'd been there I probably could have had a better shot at that with an anecdote.
I don't dislike Joel, he's okay. But how, how is he classed as a "comedian"? None of what he's said in the telegraph has been funny either. Even when he's intended it to be.

Interestingly a couple of Scarlett's go-to phrases have come across like this to me as well.
A few episodes ago she was saying something about not seeing ghosts of cavemen or modern figures. That is most definitely a well-known observation that I've seen discussed on the internet or from another source prior to this programme. It may have even been discussed on a panel show or QI or something, struggling to rack my memory, but it was very familiar, including the ghosts with jeans lines, it's not "hers".
What I found most interesting about that was that his observations on the responses of the campmates in the bush telegraph afterwards were very, very funny - much funnier than the actual stand-up itself.
I thought the bit of his stand up we saw as very good and I'm genuinely bemused that there are people in this thread who didn't find it funny. He's also funny in his pieces to camera. Maybe his humour is wasted on the sort of people who find I'm A Celebrity... entertaining.

Aah right, because when people disagree with you they must be stupid!

Sorry for not appreciating the pinnacle of humour that is Joel talking about changing the channel on his television.
My sense of humour is obviously not as refined as yours and Adumbs
G'day mate, Kiosk Keith's Helpline...What's the problem cobber?"
"G'day, Kiosk Keith can you help ? I'm in Darwin with my sheila and she's been stung on the minge by a wasp, it's now swollen and has completely closed up."
"Bummer mate!"
"Thanks a lot Kiosk Keith, I hadn't thought of that. Bye."

Not only did I find his routine absolute rubbish it was also seriously not funny one iota. And by the way. CGMOH is also bland and boring this year.

I used to like him on Impractical Jokers, thought he was the funniest . Then again they don't tell jokes on that .
Very difficult for even a comedian to be put on the spot and told, now make me laugh .
