I didn't understand what was funny, but he is my favourite, though!

My understanding of the point of the joke was that the DVD was changed from Castaway to The Philadelphia Story, the punchline being along the lines of ' gee, that guy is really unlucky'

I don't find his routines funny, but I find him endearing when he's just being himself.

I have watched quite a few of his routines that out and I didn't find any of them particularly funny...
But he's still my favourite in Camp |

I think he should give up on stand-up and concentrate on presenting. He has charisma.

What I found most interesting about that was that his observations on the responses of the campmates in the bush telegraph afterwards were very, very funny - much funnier than the actual stand-up itself.

Is this man relying on comedic talent to put food on his plate?
If so, god help him! |

I was just as bemused about how Adam reacted to his jokes. I didn't get why he thought Joel's jokes were hysterical!

Speaking of Joels stand up....why was it treated in a funny way when he announced to the campmates about his sex on the computer, it was neither funny or entertaining and Im surprised someone hasnt mentioned it.

I'm rubbish at stuff like that, and if I'd been there I probably could have had a better shot at that with an anecdote.
I don't dislike Joel, he's okay. But how, how is he classed as a "comedian"? None of what he's said in the telegraph has been funny either. Even when he's intended it to be. |

hes not much of a comedian, it was completely unfunny and Adams OTT laughter was fake.

I bet all the people in this thread saying they don't find Joel funny enjoy the work of Keith Lemon.

I do really like Joel, but I find his humour quite forced. Lovely guy, though. |

I'd heard his joke before, I don't think it's even his material.

Yep, not his material. Can't remember where I heard that joke first, but it definitely wasn't from Joel.
I enjoyed his stand up and I also enjoy most of his one liners in camp. |

I thought he was funny. Though not as funny as Adam was making out. He is generally funny though, and really lovely. I want him to win.

I thought the bit of his stand up we saw as very good and I'm genuinely bemused that there are people in this thread who didn't find it funny. He's also funny in his pieces to camera. Maybe his humour is wasted on the sort of people who find I'm A Celebrity... entertaining.
