Larry and Wayne were a right pair of pricks on tonight's show

I hadn't thought of that. Yes, Larry seemed to like Danny and if Danny could go maybe Larry s getting worried that he might go soon too.

Indeed. I lost what little respect I had for him tonight. What a nasty vindictive man, and what a huge chip he has on his shoulder. Really hope he goes next.

And to think I liked him at first.

The producers obviously don't like him or they wouldn't show such things.

Thank you - that was the phrase I was trying to think of!

It's so hilarious in hindsight how everyone was saying how they're all so nice and angelic in the first couple of episodes.

On the whole this is the nastiest lot we've had in years, maybe ever.

Where's David Emmanuel, aka "nicest person to have ever been on this thing", when you need him?!

I used to like Larry Lamb in Gavin and Stacey, but this show has put me right off him, he's not even aware of how much of an arrogant dick he's coming across on screen.

He started off so well in this series.
I can't believe how much my opinion of him has lowered.

I couldn't stand him from the off!
It does my head in on the opening titles when that bloody glint appears on his gnashers.
He's done sod all to entertain me and royally pissed me off with his rant at Martin.
Legend - as if! I hope the crinkled old git goes next but the fawn fest from A n D will be gut-churning I guess.

I think all the arm-waving and pointing made it worse. Martin visibly flinched more than once. It looked very "in his face".

His eyes freak me out! Anyone else notice them? Small and very dark and glinty and flinty

I really liked him for the first half of the first episode. Since then? Not so much. He's actually far more cantankerous and unpleasant than Martin has ever been; or Danny.

Never really cared for him since the start. Nothing particular, just couldn't take to him.

Thinking about it now, yes, it's probably those glinty, flinty, squinty eyes!

I have never taken to this man. He said Martin was a class bore in the back seat. Really that was Larry talking about Larry. Hope he goes next.

Yeah, he's really ruined it for himself.

There seems to be a lot of projection going on with Larry.
He tells Martin that he's desperate to come forward to be seen to have all the ideas.
But before Martin and Danny came into the camp he was displaying pride in himself for what he can do and them relying on him for his supposed knowledge, telling all the other camp-mates how to do things like he's an expert on living in the wild (maybe he is, but it doesn't negate him from being egotistical himself). Look at me, I can do this, I can do that, look at me squatting this man on my back, I can do everything me.

That was why I found it very interesting when he showed how angry he was at Martin for coming forward with ideas like he was the bore at the back of the class putting his hand up.
It's all right when he does it, because everyone was too decent to try to demoralise him for doing it.

Yes. He didn't come across too well in another reality show he took part in either.

I didn't know that he was on another one. Which one was that?

That's the word " Projection". I saw a preview of tonight's episode and he was telling Sam and Scarlett how to cook the meal when they had been designated as the cooks. He comes over as insecure and threatened by intelligent men of a gentle mannered nature like Martin.

I had wondered about that myself with them showing the whispering with Larry with sub titles for us , its as if they want him out.

I have really gone off Larry, which makes me sad as I've always like him as an actor. I hope they will show that he can clash with people other than Martin, to show that not all the tensions in the camp are around Martin.
