He's quite relaxed at it, it's definitely something that comes naturally to him.

It's all part of his "career development."
Someone at the BBC a while back might have decided he had potential, but if he were to attract television viewers, his profile needed to be raised. That's why he is doing Strictly. I did say at the beginning of Strictly, that his inclusion, though he be relatively unknown, (I'd never heard of him) that this was likely to happen. Maybe ITV made him a better offer than the BBC, or maybe he has no contract with them, which seems strange. They were also trying to make Naga "more viewer friendly," that's why she was in it. Unfortunately, it didn't work. In the earlier stages when popularity is more important than being an improving dancer, she obviously wasn't. They might have had similar plans for Laura, though there again, it might have been a case of inviting someone from "the opposition," to deflect any criticisms of bias. Although she has worked for the BBC, she's probably freelance. If she'd proved popular, they might have offered her a job, this still might happen Still, "one out of three ain't bad." You can't beat an appearance on Strictly, as an opportunity for improving your "market value." |

Jay McGuinness went from some guy from a boyband to lead role in Big The Musical, Tom Chambers parlayed his Strictly win into a West End lead and it's increased the profile of a lot of contestants. Strictly is a great shop window.

I didnt think he was very good with spur of the moment quips, not as good as Phillip, Rylan or Eamon
But it was hs first time He mentioned his wife quite a few times in different segments maybe he was trying to appeal to the lonley wives He is so much better following a script |

They cut to Loose Women to find out what the programme was about. Ore immediately asked when he'd be getting an invite onto the show. They replied he could come any time. So he may be making an appearance on that show.

Guess he doesn't need much to time to learn the new dance if he can appear on This Morning! Are these dance routines that easy they don't need much learning?

He is already a presenter???
He is a sports presenter on BBC Breakfast as well as presenting other programmes. I am somewhat confused as to why this appears to be 'news'?? Am I missing something? ![]()

Celebs can't be expected to spend all day locked in the training room for a 13 week competition at the expensive of their careers they've spent their adult lives committed to. |
