She seems to take a back seat and let the others shine when its her who should shine, shes the best looking in there and seems genuinly unaffected like some.

Apparently she's come out as saying she doesn't think she has a big following. Sad really but I suppose winning Olympic medals is boring to the new age of social media kids

Yes. She said this last night. Joel tried to reassure her but I did feel sorry for her. Almost as if she's accepted 'defeat' already. I really like her. There are no pretences and she seems nice and normal. I hope she stays in and gets a chance to be seen to shine on TV.

Lets hope that she gets more screen time as Im sure she would be excellent in all the challenges.

She seems a decent lass who is overshadowed by the show-off media savvy types around her, even Ola looks like she is taken aback by how much in-your-face-desperate-to-win some of the others are.
I hope she stays in a long time.

True DUNDEEBOY but the public now can make changes to that.....and show the producers were not being fooled anymore.

She's gorgeous. And nice.

But unfortunately not a Bush Telegraph hogging motormouth from the North East of England, so she'll be a gonner very soon.

I'd love to see Scarlett give her opinion in the Bush Telegraph over that!

Sam is highly shaggable.

Sadly she will be out soon unless she does something dramatic.

She made a pledge to stay classy.

I loved the way she told them all she wanted immunity, no airs, graces or false modesty from her she told it as it is

she doesnt have much of a following (no wonder when she has had very little AT) she looked at who is in the jungle with her and realised there are many more media savvy in there than her so she told them and us what she wanted

she has struggled through the trails she has had (you can see she was scared) without any yelling and dramatics

She is a normal young woman with no pretence unlike another young woman in there

I think when someone is part of a large team such as hockey, they are not necessarily so recognisable, either their name or face, as someone who competes alone.

I mean people might remember the Hockey Team won Olympic medals, whereas, for example Mo Farrah won medals. There's no disrespect intended, it's just the way it is.

very true a team player when most of the rest in there wouldnt know how to be part of a team there mostly interested in themselves as no.1

It's Mo Farah. You would have thought people would spell your name correctly when you are a double double Olympic champion. 🙄

I know as much about Sam now as I did when she went in. Her name is Sam, she plays hockey, she won a medal. That's it, that's everything I know. I don't understand why producers bother paying out for 12 celebs when they ignore more than half of them with the edit, and I refuse to believe that they're doing nothing. The 'if they were interesting it would be shown' argument doesn't wash with me I'm afraid. They must be doing something, saying something, they're not just sat in the hammock like a statue; and let's face it, it's not as if what we are being shown of Adam and Scarlett is particularly riveting is it?

This show has always been bad for pushing it's favourites at the expense of others, but at least in the past it could be somewhat justified by the chosen one actually being funny/interesting (eg. Stacey) but this year and last we're smothered with shockingly plain and mediocre moments that really could have been anyone yet are the same people time and time again. Scarlett's frequent BT musings aren't even insightful or humourous, they're just straight descriptions of events. Why can't someone else, say Sam, deliver them?

I don't understand it, and I think it's disgraceful how some camp mates are shafted by the edit like this. Sam deserves better.

I know what you mean, but I enjoyed the first few shows more than I do the recent ones (ie before the newcomers and the rubbish lets-be-divisive trials).
