How do you define a 'celebrity' then? The only ones I would recognise if I somehow bumped into them in the street, would be Danny and Carol.

The 'if they were interesting it would be shown' argument doesn't wash with me I'm afraid. They must be doing something, saying something, they're not just sat in the hammock like a statue; and let's face it, it's not as if what we are being shown of Adam and Scarlett is particularly riveting is it?

This show has always been bad for pushing it's favourites at the expense of others, but at least in the past it could be somewhat justified by the chosen one actually being funny/interesting (eg. Stacey) but this year and last we're smothered with shockingly plain and mediocre moments that really could have been anyone yet are the same people time and time again. Scarlett's frequent BT musings aren't even insightful or humourous, they're just straight descriptions of events. Why can't someone else, say Sam, deliver them.”

I agree with all this. I can't believe that they haven't got some footage of the others (even it's only from the bush telegraph). As you say, sometimes they only show them talking about what we've just seen, with nothing particularly funny or noteworthy, but even then it always just seems to be Scarlet, Joel or Adam. I don't dislike any of those three particularly, but wish some of the others would get a bit more airtime.

Think she's from Heswall on the Wirral, we have the same hairdresser, who is in Heswall. If that helps any.

I would say winning an Olympic gold medal makes you more of a celeb than appearing on Gogglebox for a living !
Unfortunately that view seems to be in the minority these days...

I hardly know any of their faces, this is a lady who said that young girls shouldnt be looking up to the likes of Kim Kardashian to emulate, and for that I applaud her. She is classy unlike some who have passed through the gates of the jungle in the past... This time round though the girls are a nice bunch.

She seems very nice, I do find her quite dull though. If there was a bit more about her, (personality wise) surely we would have seen it by now. I think she's going next.

Coasted through to immunity in claim of thrones, her throne wasn't even challenged and she hardly got messy doing the dingo dollar challenge. She could be in trouble tonight.

Seems a nice girl but she's been anonymous. Being a member of a team who won a medal meas she wasn't really known at all before the show and didn't come with a fanbase unlike with Olympians who have bee on rtv shows like Greg Rutherford or Louis Smith

Sam urgently needs to match Ola in the 'norks-out-shower-scene' stakes to have any chance.

She seems lovely, genuine and unaffected but needs to push herself out there a little more. She should have done that trial and not Wayne.

I guess that's not her way though and that's why she'll leave soon.

She's only an Olympic gold medallist, not a couch potato who watches telly for a living.
Which one do you think young girls should be emulating ?

I actually like Sam.She seems very honest and genuine, thought it was quite funny when she just got up and walked away when Carol was doing that embarrassingly boastful love life chat and when she just looked stony faced during Joel's stand up routine.

I'm sure she is bound to do a trial if she stays just a little longer.

Olympic Gold medal winner - best at her field in the world . How do you compare that with being yet another actor on a soap most peopel don't watch , someone who did sums on count down , or an England football player whose never won anything against international competition. .

She''s lovely. She was fab in that trial. Talking Carol through her more nervous moments and keeping her cool. You can tell she''s an athlete.

Rather harsh I think, just an extra 'r' in the spelling, easily done! Better to comment on the contestants than pull a fellow poster up on their spelling. Even the best of spellers make mistakes, better make sure your perfect with your spelling in the future!!!!!!

I don't understand it, and I think it's disgraceful how some camp mates are shafted by the edit like this. Sam deserves better.”

But she isn't doing anything to better her chances. She might be all that's said re her, but staying classy isn't how it works in the jungle, and I don't think she uderstands that. If she was herself, she'd get teams to play Hockey like that Cricketer did with Cricket some years back. I'm sure if she did the edit would show it. She should get off her butt and do something!

Sam's my favourite.

If she goes home tomorrow night, I'm happy for her that she at least survived two eliminations, which is great considering her non-existent edit!

Final nine now... She could easily beat out Carol, Jordan and Wayne since they've equally been as ignored as she has. I hope so.

Where does she get the equipment from to play hockey?!

But why should young girls be like Athletes when they don't want to be like that! It's up to the youngers to decide, and not some snob who thinks they are better than them.
