To be fair to Jessica and Frances, I can understand the crying if it wasn't fake. I'm a professional, intelligent woman but if i get frustrated i tend to cry. I can't help it, even when i know the situation doesn't warrant crying it just starts and it's very hard to stop!

I wondered if LS had sympathy with them because the stress of working with someone as aggressive as Paul might have got to them.

I'm glad Paul was fired, he was nasty. He was singling out Jessica for most of the task, in order to scapegoat her if they lost. I felt sorry for her and that it was bullying. She wasn't good, but she didn't deserve to be targeted for all the blame. The others sensed that she was the scapegoat, and where happy to quietly sit back while Paul picked on her.

Meanwhile, Frances was brown nosing Paul throughout the task, and he entirely fell for it, until she let the mask slip in the boardroom.

Paul made sure he acted subdued and humble on You're Fired; he knows how rude and aggressive he came across.

Yes, Paul was incredibly rude to Lord Sugar. There's no way he could have kept him after that. He can't even rein himself in when his chance if £250000 depends on it.

I'm not excusing Paul''s behaviour, he was awful and agressive and threw tantrums when he got frustrated but I think the production schedule is punishing and it's designed to show you at your worst- I think he''s done himself more harm than good really though in terms of long term prospects but I'm hoping he doesn't behave like that in his day job.

Jessica/Frances clearly shaken up a bit, partly because Paul was so outwardly aggressive and obviously tiredness exaggerates emotions and this is a way into the process now. I'm a little bit concerned at the shows disregard for a decent duty if care towards contestants but I guess they're supposedly intelligent people who knew what should be in store

I loved You're Fired tonight but the audience in the actual studio seemed half asleep! I was sat here actually laughing out loud at some of Rhod's quips and the clips

I'm also amazed Lord Sugar doesn't have a waxwork at Madame Tussaud's!

Good riddance. I think Paul is capable but he so often rears his ugly side when things don't go well. Blimey, he was so rude and aggressive towards Frances and Jessica.

Just caught up with last night's prog - cringeworthy and yet strangely entertaining.

All I can say is if these are the cream of this years applicants then I can only wonder at the caliber of those who didn't get on the show.

I was glad Paul finally got the boot. I had him down from the first episode as someone who could be a bully. It also irritated me how he kept saying "you was" and "we was" (I know Lord Sugar does it as well), especially when he was being aggressive. You'd think somebody who owned their own business would know to use proper grammar.

Dillon got some praise from Claude on 'You're Fired' last night.

I've been thinking about Dillon - going on that show will probably get him some work in the UK - and certainly will make him a bigger fish in the smaller pond of Ireland (where I'm from).

Jennifer Maguire from Dublin who was on The Apprentice in 2008 went on to be a TV and radio presenter in Ireland - Dillon can probably look forward to similar things now (assuming he doesn't win, and actually become Lord Sugar's business partner...I don't think he will...)
