He's not trying very hard then.

His odds to win were 50/1 last night with most bookies.

He's now 12/1 with 2, and 16/1 with another two... Biggest shortening of odds overnight we've seen so far this series from anyone.

Maybe Martin does want to be voted out but if so, it has backfired as laughed so much tonight. I want him to stay

His wish won't be coming true for a bit. Great stuff tonight from him and Adam AND Wayne

I think the opposite, I think now he knows the first eviction is nearing, he's acting the joker to stay in. It's certainly working as he is funny I think, plus it's good entertainment. I'd much rather watch him then some of the other camp mates who do pretty much nothing for entrainment. Even though he can get a bit annoying sometimes, the way he doesn't know when to shut up haha.

in his mind he had been wronged, being punished even after his heroic efforts in the task, he reminded me of myself one day when my mum wouldn't let me watch Rainbow even though I'd ate up all my egg and soldiers, so unfair

Of course he went on and on claiming he'd drunk the worst drinks
Did you notice he didn't offer anyone encouragement or applause?

yes, and apparently in his parallel universe Ola drank hers just as fast as Adam, so it wasn't his fault as he'd been up against the Usain Bolt of critter gulping

You obviously didnt watch the same show I did. He congratulated Adam and said Ola deserved her win.

Yes, he did.

I'm sure he's savvy enough to know that the people who cause friction and provide entertainment will not be voted out.

When it was over and Adam downed his final drink he said "that was incredible" to him and he didn't say anything directly to Ola. That was it. He didn't offer anyone encouragement or applause at all during the trial which the others did and his lousy miserable attitude was evident throughout.

I agree with this. Before he went in I read that he was desperate not to be out first and even his own Mum bet on him being evicted first. I think hes playing up because he knows that's the best way to stay in.

Last night was so funny and I have to say that Adam and Martins antics reminded me of Laurel and Hardy. Martin just can't help being one big toddler which is why we are laughing at him as I am convinced he isn't acting.

You just seem to want to see the bad in him for some reason as I cant agree with what you think you saw.
