Tonight's IAC was the best episode so far this series. So funny. The trial was particuarly great. And Ant & Dec were on top form.

Martin Roberts is turning out to be a great signing.

Yesterday was a weaker episode, but tonight was just fantastic.

It was certainly solid.

I was thinking we'd been sold a dud halfway through the drinking trial, but the camp antics were certainly the best of the series tonight. Certainly better than talking to toads and tree hugging!

Thanks to Martins antics it was getting boring in there thank goodness he's giving us something to watch and talk about.

He's a childish pratt and cant wait to see him go

I'm still watching it, and loving it! Martin is just brilliant. I really don't want him to go yet.

I was genuinely laughing for most of the episode. Even Wayne had his moments when he was talking about about how he was the only one to figure out how to do the Dingo Dollars task, calling the rest of them 'numpties'. Lol. They've all woken up big time.

And of course, Martin was on fire.
'Sorry, wrong number' and hanging up the phone on Ola. 😂

Adam was annoying me the last few days, but he took Martin drenching him with water in the spirit of fun and I thought the chocolate revenge was a nice touch. And it was quite sweet that Sticky Martin got his talc in the end.

Yes, fairly funny tonight, I've only seen a couple of episodes so far mind you.

The water and chocolate thing was actually great to see.

That was genuine, mutual banter rather than nastiness sark and picking on people. Both Adam and Martin took it fine, and it was a laugh for both of them.

That sort of light-hearted rivalry is so much better than making snidey remarks behind people's backs. And yes, Martin's got this down now. Just needs to keep doing what he's doing. I noticed that his body language when they announced the trialists in tonight's show was very at ease. He's finally enjoying himself.

I agree best episode yet, Martin is the panto villain and the campmates are competing for camera time, that's why they can't stand him.

I think you might be waiting a while. I cant see Martin going anywhere yet, he's the only one who's stirring the camp up just as it should be. Otherwise you will get the Adam and Scarlett show as the others are doing nothing.

This pretty much sums it up.

The public will respond because it's not fake either. It's not scripted one liners or stupid noises, it's simply a case of a guy becoming more at ease in his environment and his flamboyant and silly personality coming out more.

It's great he's come out of his shell, he showed the worst side of himself first day, and got the worst side of his campmates on his first day, it was a nightmare start and it's good to see him turn it around.

Soooo glad people are finally "getting" it. Best series ever IMO. We want to be entertained, not have to listen to a load of arguments and pettiness. Was also nice tonight to see Ola having something to do and coming across very well.

By a country mile.

I was in stitches throughout Martin's Greek tragedy of a day. A once mighty King brought low by hubris who finally gets talc for his sticky bits, what's not to love? Ok, maybe it was more of a farce than a tragedy.

Still laughing at him welling up as the unfairness and enormity of what had happened hit him as he crossed the bridge, then pulling that final, inevitable yellow stick as they drew lots to serve the Royals after he'd said he wasn't going to do it. Funny stuff.

Got to see more of Ola too. She was steely in that trial. And I even found Adam interesting tonight for the first time. He's a formidable competitor under all those acting antics. Joel's onto a loser with that particular rivalry.

Really good episode for lots of reasons but especially in breaking the pattern of the previous few dull nights of Scarlett promotion.

Brilliant post. The 'inevitable yellow stick' indeed. 😂

I think Danny and Martin were told to go in and be outrageous and stir things up because everyone was getting on great but nothing was happening so it was boring

This series has been dire, but I admit Martin made tonight's show enjoyable.

The "revenge of the chocolate" was just brilliant. I loved the show last night.

It was so entertaining because we saw a different group interact and much less of Scarlett. I am sure that Martin hasn't a clue how he is coming across. It's so funny because he is like a big baby and scenes with him and Adam were a treat. I quite like Adam now too.
Doesn't the editing make a differences?

Definitely the best episode yet. It was so much better because loads happened, not just the usual sitting around. A great mixture of humour and rivalry and Martin's naughtiness was brill, just loved it!

I do hope we get more of last nights antics tonight.

I find Adam quite fun to watch.

Let's hope the producers recognise the best episode had little to no Scarlett

The thing I like about Martin (if like is the word) is he doesn't appear to be interested how his behaviour is being received by the public - he must be aware that Ant & Dec are practically demi Gods in Britain yet he continuously answers them in the way he does. I don't particularly like his reactions to people or situations but I do admire that it is probably his personality and not him being media savvy. If this is the case it is very refreshing although the villain historically appears to get more airtime and time out of the jungle so maybe he is very media savvy who knows.
