Happy birthday Slappers !

One of the nice things about watching this for the first time in a few years is seeing some familiar faces on the forum..........lulu, slappers, pitman, richie.........I'm sure there's a few other old timers as well !

It was really good and much better without the constant hut visits from Scarlett

I wont be in tonight as Im having a birthday party but I am going to record it and I think that will be better as I think it will be back to the Scarlett show tonight

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME
Happy birthday to you!

the best bits for me is when they start getting voted off lol
The boring part is when we are shown when the camp mates go back to hotels and jump on the hotel bed etc

It WAS much better. Even Ant and Dec perked up and seemed back on form.

blame Larry, he lost his bearings in the night and had a shit in the hut
Lies. He told me he did it deliberately to keep Scrarlett out.

just watch it on catchup, if you fast though all the crap bits you'll probably have time to see it in between HIGNFY and the programme after that
Or you can watch it on +1 like I did last night.

when I say 60 today it doesnt sound to old but when hubby said "old girl you are now in your 7th decade" I feel old and makes me regret marrying a toyboy

I think we were only young whipper snappers when we joined DS, Ive had two lives since I first joined (BB killed one of them off)
whenever I see Richies name it always reminds me of the WHATM threads

happy 60th slappers

I have grown up with Ant and Dec, so understand why they are looking so tired, jaded, depressed and in Ant's case fat

It's a better show without Scarlett.

It's backfired on them a bit this year. There's always someone who gets pushed to the forefront, but with Scarlett it's been highlighted more than it normally would amongst the media. Plus she's getting a lot of stick from people thinking she's manipulative regarding Martin. I'd imagine the producers, aware of the backlash, are toning it down slightly. But only slightly; she still featured more than a lot of them tonight.

she did well on the trial though, she was like a little geordie homing pigeon, it was Martin and Jordan that looked like they'd have to phone for a cab

Eh??

Neither she nor Lisa got past the second gate in the trial before the lads had finished.

I think PItman is talking about the trial where they were guided into the mud by their partners. Martin was all over the place.
