The early FB spoiler came from my spoiler page. Someone else on the page suddenly claimed they had a friend in the green room (where they're allowed to keep their phones!) so they had a head start (I had to wait to get my phone back). Because my fellow admins were waiting to hear from me, they made it provisional until I texted everyone (at the same time!).

Not sure if the same source could be useful in the future and of course if we get the result we will post it here too.

Wonder if they would know about how things go for the Christmas show? - Just a thought.

I thought there'd been a problem in the past with someone giving the result before the audience had got their 'phones back.

Thank you to everyone involved for the Spoiler. Week 10 a brilliant run for Ed and what a first series Katya's had.

Katya has been wonderful.... I so hope she is back next year, with Neil of course, and that she has a contender.

I hope they're both back too and that Neil is also partnered with a celeb.

Its been a great run for Ed and Katya......but you sensed they knew last nite it was their time to go. For once the music/dance /choreography didn't seem to gel..the 'model' thing and the rose a symbol of a last throw of the dice.
That said, none of the ones who have gone, or indeed most of those left, have been half as entertaining as E&K. And consider the likes of sicknotes anastacia/laura, dropout will...they should and did go long before him.
To reach the last six alongside trained dancers and gymnasts is an incredible achievement. And for sure it is Ed Balls (and katya!) who will live in the memory from this year's show.

Nice post. Yes I thought they played it down last night and were ready to throw in the towel. To me this will always be Ed Balls year for all the right reasons. What a trooper.👌💕

Sorry Ed and Katya have been voted out but yes, they had a great run.
I shall watch tonight's results show and be sorry to see Ed go.

A nice way of looking at it, is you get to see him dance not one but two dances again. Even if the last one is his swan song

Seems suspicious they went after what was in yesterdays paper saying the judges wanted him gone , apparently they gave him a difficult dance so they could give low marks

I have enjoyed Ed's participation and I think he has gained a lot of fans because of his all round dedication and likeability. His leaving was quite sad, but it was his time to go and I think he knew that deep down. I really do like the team spirit of this series. Unfortunately, I think the way the judges judged the cha-cha-challenge last night was basically how they want the series to go, so Rinder out next week, Claudia, the week after, etc.... They need to stop this challenge thing as it is impossible to judge (the judges spent their time chatting and looking at their notepads), there is no way they could judge the 6 couples at once. If they want this challenge, at least be honest, and have each pair dance individually, so we, the viewers, can also judge....

He'd be the last anyway, does not matter with how many points. Apparently it was the public vote that wasn't enough. Either his voters abandoned him or voters regrouped with one celeb leaving each week and kept Claudia out of a danger zone.

And Tango isn't one of the more difficult dances.
