I know there are a few threads which highlight one of the judges, but I wanted something to discuss them as a whole. Not including just the current panel, but possible future members and past members of the panel who you'd like to return.

Sharon really has a bad idea of who is fabulous

Louis is just past it and I can see why they have taken him off in the past (2015 series) and one a few years back (can't remember his name, but he replaced him and joined Simon and Sharon briefly) and Simon said "I can't believe it but we're bringing back Louis".

Nicole is just annoying in general - making up words and phrases often and saying things which make no sense because they are not true. There's an opinion and then there's just nonsense.

There was a time when Simon would seriously get people told - I liked him better when he lived up to his name and was more of a cow y'know? now it's more like he's insulted people pointlessly and failed to when he needed to. It's not him!!

I'd like Cheryl and Nick to return (though the latter seems unlikely) and Jack Black would be awesome for a whole new judge. I know Pixie Lott was a guest judge at one time and would be nice if she was permanent as Victorias' a very kind young woman whos with it and knows what she's dealing with.

Definately need to replace at least 2 maybe 3 of the panel and can't see myself watching next year if it's the same four people.

Feel free to comment and add your own thoughts but remember it's just me with my impression of things and my ideas.

The judges killed the show.

Three are too old and can't sing.
Not relevant to a youth TV show.
Louis is away with the faries.
Simon arrogant, sexist, and last it.
Sharon was OK in her day.

The show is in some kind of late nineties timewarp, someone hasn't told them that the world has moved on, they may have been OK in their day, but we need far younger judges now.

As excited as I was for this panel it has just been let down Sharon and Louis are not capable of mentoring an act. This series as all been about the entertainment factor rather than talent and it's been so camped up. I'd say bring back Cheryl and Get Louis Tomlinson in as Louis Walsh replacement the former impressed me at Simons judges houses last year. Any ideas for a 4th judge? Possibly Kelly Rowland adding about of fun aswell as a good mentor.

I'll keep it succinct:

Sharon: Ghastly, decrepit, foul old soak.

Simon: Botoxed overlord

Louis: Needs putting out to pasture

Nicole: Needs to stop raiding Ma Osbourne's booze and pill stash.

Haha Jesus, some people are full of anger. They're just TV judges . They don't probably care a great deal about our opinions.

I'm okay with the current panel, but if we had to replace everyone but Simon, I'd go for:

Louis Walsh to be replaced with Snoop Dogg (because he's amazing at everything)
Sharon Osborne to be replaced Leona Lewis (she won the show and did really well)
Nicole Scherzinger to be replaced with Natasha Bedingfield (because she's actually quite intelligent and would bring a bit more depth hopefully)

You might want to see a Doctor about your sense of humour bypass. Probably needs redoing.

I would like to see them stop bringing in new people as judges, I have liked quite a lot of the past judges just not together.

Sharon would be better WITHOUT Nicole.
Louis is a no one in my opinion.
Nicole constantly gets up and makes the show all about her.
Simon I do quite like but this series he is blind and deaf.

Keep these four in....the originals since series 1....where talent was at its height! !!...if you had to change one....make it Nicole with Cheryl as she seems quite decent from last year! !!!

The judges to me are four meaningless figureheads.

They have very little to do with the contestants, song choices, routines etc etc so in that capacity they are expendable. They do no critique whatsoever anymore, so it makes no difference if they are Gary Barlow or Cheryl Cole.

Bearing this in mind, all you can ask for is people who don't get on your nerves too much - four out of four is never going to happen so I really don't care who is behind the desk.

It should be called the Old Fart's Show - Louis is living in the past and has no talent whatsoever, Sharon must be downing a few scoops before the show and doesn't know where she is, Simon seems to be losing it and doesn't know what day it is and Scherzy is just away with the fairies trying to make it her own show cos the other old farts are too out of it to know what's going on.

It's a bloody car crash.

Louis: Didn't look like an idiot this season because Mrs. O and Scherzy are on.
Nicole: Annoying and exhausting to watch this year. Very bad all about her-attitude.
Sharon: Had her days and didn't care anything about her acts this season.
Simon: becomes boring. Want the old, nasty one back.

I also wanted a shake up of the judging panel next year. Nicole and Sharon must leave the show. I'm sure Louis will never leave the show again, even he didn't make the decision to go.

Kelly Rowland worked well with Simon on XF US. She and Chezza on the panel could be interesting. Hopefully no comeback of Mel B. The show needs more current judges.

Agreed completely. They are nothing more than puppets nowadays.

IIRC Simon and Sharon used to be able to speak constructive, meaningful feedback grounded in reality. Louis has always been an easy to please stuck record of cliches, but I'm sure shirtswinger could come back down to earth if given the direction and instruction to do so.

They are all on a payroll and have bosses to answer to. If someone could just say to Sharon, lay off the booze and coke love, and stop acting like a crazy person, Simon, drop the Mr Nice act, and Nicole stay in your bloody chair and quit with the fake emotion and waterworks - or your fired - things could change in a week.

The fact that they are allowed to carry on as they do like excitable puppies in cloud cuckoo land speaks clearly to make that their superiors are more than happy for them to act this way, or actively desire it.

Replacing the judges won't change anything IMHO. The rot goes far deeper than that.

Get rid of Sharon Nicole Louis and bring back Gary Barlow Cheryl & Rita

The judge brought in to take Louis' place was Brian Freedman, the choreographer. It didn't last long for him, but I thought he had more clue than Louis, to be honest.

Sorry, I hated when Cheryl was a judge. I don't think she has that much of a clue what will work and what will not. She is scarcely a top performer herself. Nick was OK, but Rita's act won the show.

Simon said yesterday on Xtra that the judges will be back next year if they want to.

If they all coming back I'm done with X Factor.
