It's today's news, tomorrow's chip paper. The flow of news and information moves so fast so anything can 'lose its impact' as it quickly becomes supplanted by the next big story. . I don't care, therefore, if it
is repeated ad infinatum if it means that this kind of abuse gets stamped out because paedophiles find it more and more difficult to get away with abusing young people. As someone who experienced child sexual abuse, I don't expect paedophiles to be lurking on every corner (and most are known to their victim anyway). I do, however, expect a robust approach to dealing with perpetrators, historical or not, and the voices of their victims to be heard loud and clear. I also believe in harsh penalties for those proven to have made false allegations.
