I voted for about half.

Most of the the other half, I don't mind the characters, I just don't care about them. There's only about 5 which I really cannot stand (Fiz, Cathy, Caz, Izzy and Gemma).

Caz is a strange one with me KK!!
Initially with Kate & Sophie I HATED her & thought she was the worst actress I'd ever seen though the fact that the Kate actress is almost as bad & Brooke isn't exactly red hot acting wise didn't help her cause!!)
With Samia I thought she was better ( maybe because apparantly the pair of them have known each other for years & worked together on Children's Ward iin the 90s) though still far from brilliant, but since this whole stalking s/l I have found her oddly creepy & menacing holed up in her room watching Maria on her webcam & she is making my skin crawl so to speak, which means that yeah, she's doing what it says on the tin for me now so I put her down as a 'like!'
For the record in that scene she did with Kate just before she 'disappeared' I thought she was just as awful as before so yeah, odd case our Caz!!

My poor buddy Izzie is looking like she's down for the count. This is worrying to me. But it aint over 'til it's over. So maybe she'll pull a trump. Hope Springs eternal.

I could at some point, though I would have to warn you that I added a few catacters to the Corrie one that the official list had as part time!!
With Emmerdale I don't know the characters so may miss one or two that way!!
Will give the Corrie one a couple more days then when I get time I'll have a go with Emmerdale if you like!!

Pleased to see the likes of Gary, Todd, Sarah and Bethany doing so well - all of them are much more prominent than say 18 months ago and all well acted too.

Definetely when you look through the cast though there is some real deadwood.

I believe Corrie's cast is its strongest feature and it proves a show is only ever as good as its cast. For a soap to have so many long serving cast members after almost 60 years on air is quite something.

The Platt's, Barlow's and Webster's are my favourites, and I am thoroughly looking forward to Toyah and Rosie's returns.

Had to draw a line somewhere with the kids Cool-Mate so sort of drew a 'teenage' line &
anyone under that I left out, though Amy was probably pushing that a bit too!!

Fair enough comment with Maria, I daresay you're not alone & the Caz s/l has possibly been counter productive to her in some ways!! Still delighted with how many votes she does have though!! She is more popular than you would think reading the comments in here!!
Gemma polling well too!! I'm really torn on her, sometimes I love her but then she just does some scenes that seem so OTT it puts me off her again!!

KO really needs to work on that character if viewers are ever going to take to her again!!
At least growing up she could be marginally funny but these days there's not much to like!!

I never minded her in the early days with John, or even with Kirk but she's dragging Tyrone down with her atm which is a real shame!!

For a show that's always counted strong female characters as it's biggest asset the top six characters here currently are all male!!

Just goes to show too how many good characters the show is filled with, what was letting it down for so long was the writing. Suddenly it's starting to feel more like Coronation Street again
