Just watched on catch up. She was brown nosing Paul, telling him how they were superior leaders to the other three then in the Boardroom, she turned full circle. As for those canapes which she bigged herself up about...

that made me laugh so much. first it was "i love working with you paul! none if them are naturaly leaders like US paul!" and then the speed in which she threw him under the bus was incredible. i also loved her "IS THAT ME?? THE WEIRDO IN THE CORNER WHO LOSES EVERY WEEK???!!!" outburst.

Yes and Karren didn't help as she's heard saying something to Paul, inferring he was having a go at Frances

Paul was just as much of a snake. he agreed with him and Frances being somehow superior to the other team, and then brought her into the boardroom and dragged tf out of her!! and his treatment of Jessica was no better. it's nicely explained on his TVTropes profile here.

She did suck up to him several times which was really jarring to watch, guess she was just trying to form an alliance so if they lost Paul would be less likely to bring her back to the boardroom (didnt work).

Paul and Francis showed their true colours. As L S said, he doesn't mind nice guys. Paul was horrid.

All the crying in the boardroom was super unprofessional. I get the feeling Paul felt the rest of them were utter incompetent numpties, and he's probably not far wrong.

Edit: All those egos and unprofessional morons would drive me completely up the wall. I'd be annoyed with them day after day as well.

Agreed, she's a total game player. The brown nosing on day 1 and the fake crying couldn't be more obvious.

I snorted when she says "the other's aren't leaders like you and me, Paul." You've been in the losing team in every single task except one, so shut up.

Maybe she was crying because she remembered... THE GHETTO!

Paul was no different to what he usually is.

He was belligerent, aggressive & arrogant from the outset & he remained that way until the end.

Frances was the one that shocked me the most.

From the way she brown nosed him in a way that even Nigel Farage couldn't do to Donald Trump, to the way she switched on him in front of Lord Sugar was staggering.

I do hate when women (yes, it's only women that I've ever seen do it) cry to manipualte situations in their favour.

Maybe Paul should have cried too, then we'd could have had all three of them blubbing away in front of his Lordship!

It was so funny the way Frances was so blatant with the brown-nosing that I thought she may wink at the camera to let us in on the tactic.
Not a bad one to be fair, "it's us against the world, Paul".

However she didn't bank on Paul losing his cool to such a degree, to either Jessica or the Darth Lord Sugar in the boardroom. Then it was about letting Paul seal his own doom, which he did very nicely, whether there was a tear shed from the girls or not.

Funny thing is Paul was just AS competent as the rest of them which makes him worse because he likes to act all superior and frustrated at the rest. If the sub-team had left the brainstorming session with clear instructions I think they would've avoided the many mistakes that occurred. They never specified what was included in the price for the tickets with regards to the hot food. Even Claude was shocked at the lack of clear direction. That's where the problems started and Paul is completely to blame

I can't argue that Francess turned on the waterworks on cue (tho I totally understand why Jessica cried and don't think that was tactical) but I kind of admire Francess for her total lack of embarrassment at bigging herself up all the time plus her ruthlessness re Paul.

To be fair, it doesn't take much for Jessica to cry.

She should be rebranded as The Incredible Crying Woman & then she can replace The Hulk in the next Avengers film.

Frances was totally cynical & hers was purely about manipulating the situation.

The ironic thing is that she didn't even need to do it, as Paul is so aggressive & arrogant, he was always going to seal his own fate without any 'help' from her.

As a woman, I hate it too. Not all women are cryers and find ourselves as much without legs as Paul would have been in that situation.

The one thing I will say in Jessica's favour is that I think she was crying in anger, unlike Frances who peed me off.

She has been bigging herself up in previous weeks too, she is an embarrassment to her sex turning on the waterworks.

I think Frances will do whatever it takes to get what she wants in any given situation, I imagine she turned on the tears because Jessica was crying and she may have believed that had taken Jessica out of the firing line increasing the chances that she would be fired so thought she'd better level the playing field again.

Would she had cried if Jessica hadn't been? I don't think so, her crying was tactical rather than emotional and no better or worse than her brown nosing of Paul.

As I said earlier on here, I like her lack of embarrassment at bigging herself up.

Very clever if a little obvious. The comments to Jessica 'I'd feel the same if I was in your position' 'There was tension between us Jessica, but to your credit...' Smack of 'keeping your enemies close.'

Indeed. I thought she was brilliant last week so it was quite a shocker to see her in operation this week.

Paul was just as much of a snake. he agreed with him and Frances being somehow superior to the other team, and then brought her into the boardroom and dragged tf out of her!! and his treatment of Jessica was no better. it's nicely explained on his TVTropes profile here.
Yes he is truly awful too. Him and Sofiane have some kind of blood brothers thing going on and would never pick on each other.

Very clever if a little obvious. The comments to Jessica 'I'd feel the same if I was in your position' 'There was tension between us Jessica, but to your credit...' Smack of 'keeping your enemies close.'
Yes she kept mentioning this supposed tension as if almost to make it happen so she she could be a victim and act superior.

I'd say she was playing a great game except it's all turned out a bit obvious. Still it isn't a popularity contest so maybe it will work to get to be a business partner if not to gain public support or friends.

I never liked Frances anyway, but she really did show her true colours this week with all the flip-flopping and backstabbing.

I really don't see any potential in her at all. Her only tactic in business seems to be playing up the cute and bubbly card, rather than having any knowledge of how business works. She may have won her task as PM but she was just incredibly lucky that there were two or three members of the public stupid enough to actually buy a boat off her and Sofiane.

Partly a response to Paul who thought very highly of himself. Paul dumped the key difficult part of the task onto the other team , so he wouldn't get blamed for lack of sales. He then set up a mutual admiration society with Frances - so he could just bring 2 salespeople from the other sub team, back into the boardroom if needed. Frances didn't want to upset that , so she played to his ego. When she attracted blame for the cheap food - she rightly dumped it back on Paul.

Paul had to be taken down - he was responsible for the lack of thought on pricing, the wrong figures being set, and no attention being paid to what was included, at what cost. It failed there - and all 3 girls pointed that out.
