If you read my comment I made after, the comment was not directed at anyone on this thread but those on Twitter and Facebook that screamed FIX (shock horror). I have seen a lot of "people under 30 should not be voting! App votes is such a fix, no wonder oldies never do well", i think that's pathetic.
It's opt difficult to use app votes. They are free. If the older viewers think it's unfair, that's their fault, they can easily match the "younger" votes. Everyone gets 5 free app votes. Everyone does. Not just the younger people. Download the app, it takes 40 seconds. It takes 1 second to vote. It's an simple playing field. Those complaining have probably never voted in their life.
Also "fans" doesn't always mean similar ages. For example, I am a big fan of Shalamar and a lot of 70s music, I'm not over 50 though.
