... no not a comment on the celebrities in camp! Just an observation that so many trials this year are involving unscrewing the star in a box with some sort of critters in it. Is it me, or are all the trials very "samey" this year? Was it always like this until the voting out started - will it change from now on to have more variety?

Ant and Dec (although not my personal favourites) and usually 2 or 3 celebs are the only thing that keeps this tired old format on our screens, the bug and offal tasks lost their novelty about 10 years ago.

They used to do a lot more interesting and varied ones. Was it Steve Davis who did the hilarious one when he had to walk over rocks, and there were other ones with water, and dangling from great heights. Are they still to come, or has elf n safety put an end to them?
