EE: My Predictions for Phil!! Potential Spoilers!
Hi all,
Just wanted to share my predictions for phil in eastenders. I reckon that the fact that roxy and ronnie die at xmas or new year is going to be phils lifeline. I reckon that will basically be phils liver, either ronnie or roxy will be a match for him. It just makes logical sense. Unless of course Ben somehow does give him one in the end. but i would say this scenario is at least 75% going to be the case. Anyone thoughts on if others think this could be the case too? |

It could be but would be unrealistic, he wouldn't automatically get the liver of either Ronnie or Roxy, it would go to the person at the top of the waiting list, but yes it will prob happenx

I hope not. They've done a pretty realistic and sensitive job of portraying Phil's cirrhosis so far, so to cheapen the storyline at the end by unrealisticly giving him a dead relatives liver would be a shame. Ben being a living donor for a partial transplant would be much more realistic and fitting.

But eitherway, they would want to give a donor to someone they know can accept it, so family might make phil become first choice because of this too? |

yes true. But this is soap land, so it makes sense to me
yeah they have done a good job with this storyline so far, and i agree that it would be a bit cheap for them to do this, but i do still think that my 75% estimate is correct anyway. But i suppose we will have to wait and see what happens. That probably will happen, cos its soapland. But it's a shame. As I said they've handled this storyline really quite sensitively, but the vast majority of people with cirrhosis waiting for a transplant will die. I'm sure I've read there's something like 400 people waiting for every liver or something. So to magic Phil a liver from a dead relative will cheapen the whole storyline.

Am I right in thinking Ben didn't go back to get the results of his psychological assessment? I'm pretty sure he decided it had gone badly and there was no point in him going back; I'm guessing he will now go back and find he was accepted and will go ahead and donate part of his liver to Phil.

They could make him have a very rare blood type that only Ronnie or Roxy have. Therefore he manages to jump up the list?
