Damn you Ed Balls for making me cry over Strictly! The affection he and Katya have for each other is lovely.

Lovely lovely end off for Ed- Tess in tears, me in tears- It was time for him to go but honest, decent and gave it his all. Who'd have thought he'd get this far when the line up was announced

Once Rinder goes all the fun couples will be gone

Imagine what Katya could do with someone who can dance. She done wonders with Balls to give her her due.

I now think anyonefortennis meant that she knew Claudia would be one of the last to be announced, which I understand

Don't agree with Tess, hasn't it been Danny first most weeks? Tonight Louise. Was first.

No tears from Tess, shed short circuit.

I know it's ridiculous, if you'd told me 9 weeks ago I'd be crying over Ed Balls

Yvette?

Lovely send off for Ed, I'll miss him.

Not the bookies he was favourite for first boot - well done Ed

It shouldn't have been inevitable when he was up against Judge Rinder, who I find painful to watch. I think it was Craig who said that his limbs all seem to go off in different directions on their own. He has no co-ordination, no connection with his partner and awful facial expressions. So on that basis, I would have given him the boot. S*d technical ability.

Well said. I got a bit sniffly when Katya started crying. A lovely send off, and he was obviously hugely liked by his fellow contestants.

When he was first announced I hoped he'd be first out. I never dreamed I'd find myself voting for him occasionally and feeling sad at his departure. He was the weakest dancer but he put a smile on my face when some of the more technically proficient dancers failed to do so - and this year, smiles have sometimes been hard to come by so I've appreciated his entertainment.

Exactly - I suspect the producers thought he'd be the duffer out first. How wrong they were

I will really miss Ed and Katya. My favourite couple this year. They captured perfectly the spirit of Strictly.

Thanks Fatima. That's exactly what I meant because everyone else was saying it would be Ore.

The big question for me now is if Claudia or Rinder can get in among the big three. Rinder has done well to survive the perilous rumba. Claudia still has that to come.

Ed often looked like he was performing his half of a mating ritual that he does with Yvette and I never signed up to see that! Thank goodness he's has gone.

The final words were nice though, I always believe they are genuine....let me go and watch Laura and Gio's

it's just for suspense value, if you gonna leave Danny, Louise and Ed at the end that's very anticlimatic.
