Precisely! It's boring for all the characters concerned.
There's so much more to Peter as a character and Chris as an actor than more relationship woes.

Yeah, I think it's once of those things that you have got accept. I remember reading an interview years ago that Georgia declined to return for Les and Cilla's wedding due to her schedule.
I agree about it being slightly unbelievable Toyah going out with Peter, your scenario makes perfect sense, I'm hoping there is more to Toyah's return than her getting it off with Peter Barlow as it's very much long awaited and I would hate for Leanne and Toyah to have a falling out after all these years I've not being on screen together. I know Toyah wasn't around when Leanne was married to Peter but she must have heard all the stories of what an arse he was to Leanne during their marriage and they know who each other are as they were both on t'street during the early 2000s (when Leanne wasn't). |

Made complete sense to me KK😄
I'm really intrigued to see how Toyah and Eva respond to one another. |

I second that.
I'm really intrigued to see how Toyah and Eva respond to one another. ![]() Toyah and Eva is also the pairing I'm most interested in seeing. I really hope that they don't go down the feud line with them too, though it's pretty standard for Corrie to do that these days so them not getting on is to be expected. I'd like them to acknowledge that they're both very different people, but move beyond their differences and become friends. There's the potential for a very strong trio of 'sisters' in Leanne, Toyah and Eva, something that would be quite unique for Corrie. |

I'm really intrigued to see how Toyah and Eva respond to one another. I'm also wondering if one of the sisters will be jealous over how close their relationshipa with Leanne is. Will Eva be jealous over how close Toyah and Leaane are having been brought up together and sharing history together? Or will Toyah be jealous of how close Eva and Leanne have got since she left? Or will they both be fine with it? |

But its someone else, he is in the xmas day episode I think Its just all odd, toyah has moved to Liverpool, got married and Leanne mentioned neither till they are setting up her return. If she was on Liverpool whats the excuse for not visiting, the train doesnt take that long between the two |

It would have actually been a greater surprise if it wasn't Toyah!
