I have watched this series and it is entertaining as compared to previous series'. Martin does get a hard time but Adam was supportive when he first entered the camp and helped him, offered words of comfort. I think they have a great rapport and it is banter. I love Adam and he has a lovely nature and good fun. I bet Martin would single him out as someone he really liked in there.

Thank you, viva.espana, sometimes I get them, more often than not, I can’t figure ‘em out at all!

He might have been laughing when he said it but remember the saying "many a true word is said in jest". In other words he meant it, albeit as a "joke". Adam needs to shutup getting a bit tired of hearing him above all others. Like only his opinion matters.

Adam Joel Scarlet Wayne, I Hope They All Go Then Martin , Dont Really Mind Who Out The Rest Wins As Long As Not These.
The Show Is Going Down The Wrong Path Again , They Seem To Manipulate Situations, To Make The Worst From People Show.
This Show Was Brilliant Before They Started Trying To Hard To Manipulate To Cause Arguments, Which I Dont Watch For, Its The Trials I Enjoy It Was Much Better 5 Yrs Ago Sinc Eits Too Manufactured.
Go Back To The Originsal Format, Bring Back The Animals In Camp.
Actually Id Like To See Larry Or Sam Win.....

Wasn't Adam the one that guessed it would be Danny and Carol in bottom two anyway and that Martin was 'going nowhere', he shouldn't be so surprised.

Why does every word have a capital letter? I'm puzzled. Is it a known style for making a point or something? That's a genuine question by the way, before someone jumps down my throat and calls me rude.

That's exactly how I feel Evangeline.

It's what the forum automatically does to a post entirely in capital letters to stop it being so shouty.

Exactly. Laurel and Hardy.

I think Adam grates on Joel a bit. Joel makes little comments but smiles as he says them but I think Adams loudness and "banter" really get on his nerves.

Surprised Joel was voted President by the public over Martin, as 1) Martin deserves to be president after what he's been through, and 2) he'd be the most entertaining and probably fair president (unless he is mischievous and gives them a dose of their own medicine).

I agree. Joel does seem to be getting little digs in. I thought it was interesting when Wayne got back from the trial and goaded Adam. Its as if he is fed up with Adams gloating. I find Adam immature. Hes got a child and needs to grow up.

I have way more faith in Joel being fair than Martin Martin is far too childish and up himself to practice fairness at all. As for giving them a dose of their own medicine, what would that entail? Asking them to carry out whatever role they had been given as he was

Adam was clearly joking which I know isn't allowed and Martin said the same kind of thing back to him which I know can't possibly count.

He may have been joking but why did he pick Martin out of all of them. He could have said that to Joel or any of the others but no, he picked on Martin.

I just got around to watching the clip of this. It was a joke, part of the panto banter and rivalry between Adam and Martin.

It's six of one and half a dozen of the other between those two. Both can dish it out and both can take it with each other.

They share "banter" and they were paired up for the camp shores for a week for Adam to try to lighten him up which he's done. He's a slightly different person from the toally negative and uptight man who arrived in camp.
Did you see what Martin did to Adam in the Royal task? He could have done that to any of the others. It's how they interact with each other . They can both dish it out and they can both take it. The lads all wind each other up. Be thankful they're resourceful enough to make their own fun, relieve the interminable hours of boredom and channel their competiveness somewhere positive for the camp. .
I'm pretty sure Martin, Adam and the others would both be amused by some of the concerns of viewers

But as they don't know what the viewers think, it's a redundant point. No
